This is first time we've not got a new Heroclix set on its release date. But what I don't understand is how late it is here! One or two days I could understand, but according to my store and folks on the Crofty boards, we won't be getting any Origin until the 22nd! Are they sending it by rowboat or something?
Starting to frustrate me somewhat now. How are the rest of you aussies doing? Heard any different about when you will get some?
Technically they were "supposed to" be on sale a week ago. :errm: I was under the impression that there weren't any in the country though. Interesting that Kings had some. Perhaps they got them direct from Diamond in the US rather than going through Croftminster?

That's what I assumed, that they got them direct. I've got a mail order account with kings, maybe i should see if they've got any left. Assuming james hasn't bought them all . My next regular heroclix day at my venue is the weekend of the 25th so I've postponed my marquee till then and have my fingers crossed that the 22nd is right. Unfortunately I'm pretty broke at the moment so I probably won't be able to afford much when it does come in.
I just don't see the point with playing a game with such a diverse background and flavour as Heroclix and such a massive pool of pieces to choose from to limit yourself to playing dupes or the same character over and over.

I bought seven. That's not even one-sixth of a case, so if there's none left now it's not my doing!
The regular game stores in Sydney have Origin now.
Except for Games Paradise. They always used to get new clix releases late (because the owner was slack about ordering them on time) and so on the release date people would buy the bulk of their boosters elsewhere. So now they think that clix don't sell and get hardly any stock in.
