The one basic porblem with this Supes is that after his third click, he ain't going no where fast. Other than that, a very nice dial.

He's no longer quite the piece of cheese that he once was thanks to the 2 chase Supermen out there (particularly the 238 point Hypertime one), but he's still one nasty customer.

While he can't charge in for 10 damage in a charge and flurry combo (10 damage being a light and unmodified guesstimate), he CAN hypersonic speed attack for 7-8 damage (5 base + the +3 damage object from LOSH set) with 13 movement whereas the Hypertime TA Superman can only charge ahead 5 squares. So this Superman can outmaneuver the other and might have an edge if he can get the first hit in. THis comparison is important, as that other Superman would be the only reason to give this one a lower ranking now than he's held for the past few years.

This Superman can still earn his keep, and how; even though he's given such a run for his money by a newer Superman that's arguably better while being 13 points cheaper, too... still, played right, this one can still come out on top and thank God for that. If it takes cheese to kill cheese, so be it; and with that being the case, let it be old school cheese coming out on top. After all, some cheese is said to improve with age.

Top 10 pieces in Icons.

Still one of the best characters in the game. Huge starting movement with HSS, 5 damage, and SS makes for one heck of a painful start, and even once he slows down, he's very powerful, and can give any other non-colossal a run for its money with the possible exception of the Crisis Chase Supermen.

Sculpt is a bit bland, but a quintessential Superman pose.

I destroyed this guy in a 300 point game. gee, 2x impossible men, and some other stuff. The impossible men did all of the work. Ever seen a poor superman melted to death by poison? It was fun!

He was the first fig I pulled in the Icons release, we had a booster draft and everyone looked at him and immediatley the other 3 players agreed that they needed to kill me cause I got that fig. I still won even though it was basically 3 on 1. To many places to run and hide after smacking people down on that day. These days I don't hit and hide, I hit, and depending on their fig i either stay close or move a few squares away.

This is a great version of supes and dare I say its pretty comic accurate, not completely, but pretty darn accurate. This game does not lend itself to playing supes like he is in the comics. If I have fortitude on this guy I dont run. I simply zip in with a heavy object and smack the biggest threat on the board. If I dont have fortitude I may hit and run for a bit but it depends on the opposition. For all of those who dont think supes should have RCE, I say yes he can! His heat vision is very powerful, he melted a full army of doomsday clones! Get off the complaining he can have RCE.
Im ok with him dropping to 7 attack on the last couple clix cause to me this is supes after he has been thru the ringer, he can still hit really hard but just has little left in the tank. anyway if you play him well you wont be dissapointed.

Pretty much point and click beatstick. If you can't win with superman, you should stick to tic-tac-toe.
Will remove when we get Legion of Doom/Challenge of the Superfriends Clix

I love this piece. Probably my Superman that I own. I plan on using this guy a lot. The other two versions of this one are good as well, but none of them matches this one's power.
