he is playable, but beatable if a whole team concentrates on him. Good fig, just know what you are going to do with him. Also like all huge figs, he needs repulsor shield and fortitude and protected.

He's awesome.

The best (non-colossal) figure in the game. At 317 points, he's expensive, but he's worth every single point. I have plyed him 4 (5?) times, and I have only lost with him once, Psychic Blast did him in. He can take a hit, and man can he dish out the hits. I played him just last night in a 2000 point game. Fortitude, Repulsor Shield and Shellhead. His 'This Is a Job For Superman' power is awesome. 10 move Charge, with a 12 AV and 5 Damage = ouch. Make sure to plunk him down amongst a group of enemies, so that he can use one of the most 'broken' powers in the game: 'Leading The Attack'. Serioulsy, a free action, and then he can attack? Or even if he's already got 2 tokens (and a 20 DV via Shellhead) he still get's to free action attack? Wow. Let's not forget his trait, built in, un-Outwittable, permanent Willpower. Wow. If Boneyards list for Arkham is correct, and Superman Prime is 318 points, I can hardly wait to see what he has. But for now, this guy is the Nuclear Bomb of HC.

A blast to play, and although is over 300 pts himself, worth every one of them. Here's to ya, Kal-L.

The best Superman representation for me that there is at the moment (perhaps to be outdone by Superman Prime) awesome stats and special powers and a trait that means you don't take pushing damage. Hopefully we can get a normal Kal-El version like this too!

I love this figure. I like his look better than his "twin". I recently finally got him and a second KC Supes. He gets almost all 5's the only problem I had was playability. He's definitely very playable in terms of useful but his cost hurts him. He can't be used in most sealed events since he's over 300 and can't be used on a theme team until youget into the games over 500 points. I believe he can handle most teams single-handedly. He is worth his point cost though.

I don't think Superman should ever be that powerfull, but since DC Comics disagrees, i think he's one of the best representations of the Super-cheese-man! Yes, he's a total monster, but at least he's priced right, unlike his KC version (waaaaaaaaaay underpriced). And he WILL deliver. If you can keep him away of Outwit, you could field him in a 400 pts game and still squish the opposition. First all 5er i ever evaluated, i think. And he's worth it.

I would much rather own this one than the KC Superman. I seem to like this one better. Another great representation of one of my favorite superheroes.
