there's also gotham city detective, who gives +1 to damage AND -1 to your target's defense, for 6 points less and no action. and he's modern age-legal. making the target easier to hit by 1 is better than upping damage by 1, since you have to hit to deal damage, and it's way better than attacking from 1 more square away.

Bravo, Horsey. You finally figured out a more logical figure to compare the Major to than your hookers. I would certainly prefer using the detective over the Major in most cases, but I'm still not seeing how this guy is terrible. He still maintains all of his bonuses on every click for those 6 extra points. As a side note, he does offer all his bonuses without needing line of fire to the targets.

possibly one of my new favorite figures... definitely one of my new favorites under 40 points. He's great on ranged teams obviously, and he's also going to be a big hit on Soldier themes. Probably my favorite thing about him is the ability to use the SHIELD power action rampantly since he never loses enhancement.

Put tailbot in hindering behind Classics Nick Fury to boost his range and damage. After Nick gets on that second click, the pair of them made a very real threat that forced my opponent to have to do something about them, which led them right where I wanted them to go.
Of course the CTD Gen Ross hiding in the backfield to support them didnt hurt either, lol.

@Stupidhorse Have to hit to deal damage? Is your characters damage 1 or 2 base (I mean seriously...)? 2 damage + the 1 square range is way better in my opinion, using people like Bullseye (who is an obvious candidate for using enchantment) is now at a FIVE damage with ELEVEN range (amazing!) and no need for an attack bonus when he already has twelve. Plus that detective would also have to have line of sight to the character and that's usually a problem in most cases and can prevent you not ALWAYS being able to use it.

usually if i'm gonna use an enhancer, the main guy's gonna be someone who flies and has running shot, so that the enhancer can be carried around and placed for the attack, thus making line of sight for both figures much easier to achieve. and idk how you play, but yeah, hitting is necessary to dealing damage. that's a pretty basic rule.

@stupidhorse no sh#t, really? I had no idea you needed to hit in heroclix! I would rather be boosting my damage TWICE and get a range bonus and just throw in a prob
(or build a theme team so I don't even have to do that) or maybe have the intelligence to use someone who has an already decent enough attack. If you're seriously going to try and bog down this character you're just not a good enough player to know how to use him.

imo, making the hit easier is way more important than doing more damage.

SHIELD TA and Enahncement for 33 pts. Not else much needs to be said. A new staple in soldier teams, and very useful in non-theme teams as well (he's great in Professor X teams as well).

I have to ask this: is the SHIELD TA and Enhancement combo the reason he's a Unique? Because I cannot see ANY other reason.

I don't even read comics & I know who he is. There was a Hulk series in the 90's(I think it was 90's anyway). If you want to know who he is, check that out.

Maybe a Hulk set is just not for you if you don't know who he is.
