It's strange thinking that Clixathon is just a few weeks away. We've been planning this event since, well, pretty much last year with the first Clixathon. We worked very hard to ensure that there were 2 tracks - one for competitive players and one for the laid-back players, and both tracks have oodles of good prizes.

But the part I look forward to the most is seeing so many regular clixers. Convention season used to mean 4-5 months of conventions where I'd see regulars half a dozen times or more. These days, it's once or twice a year. So having an event for folks to get together is fantastic.

Earlier this week, I got confirmation that Justin Ziran plans on making a reappearance this year. Now, Jerome was already planning to come for the event, like he did last time, and I've got him hinting to me that he'll grab "something" from the office. I don't know what, but I do recall that seeing the Master Mold at the Clixathon SuperCap event was really cool.

On top of which, the past 3 world champions have all indicated they will be coming as well. I wasn't able to organize anything this year, but the ability to just watch t these guys when they play is an opportunity to increase your own skills. By next year, if we're able to expand to a 2 day event, I'm hoping for some time with a "panel" or two.

Pre-Registration for Clixathon will remain open through March 12th. After that, we have to close it so we can start getting badges and goody bags put together. We have over 40 people registered already, but I am curious - if you haven't pre-registered, and plan to attend, can you give a "shout out" on this thread?

It won't happen this year, but I will make it to Clixathon in the next few years. It looks like it would be so much fun.
