Is there any current on-going Marvel Cosmic series? I was searching my LCS and I can't seem to find any that deal with the Cosmic side (besides F4 and FF). I am really enjoying Journey Into Mystery though. Almost makes me want to read a Thor book .
Hmm, I called HR about 2 hours ago and left a voicemail. I wonder if I should try calling again? She did say to call her and we'd talk after my interview.
Death is not extinguishing the light; it is only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.
I'm still ticked off for the way that Geoff "I can do no wrong" Johns treated the Earth Two Superman. Bad enough you have him killed by Superboy Whine.....I mean Prime. Then you turn him into a freakin Black Lantern.
You don't tug on Superman's Cape. Gesh! Everyone knows that!!!!
Full agreeement. He's gotten worse over time-- I generally dislike he writing now, although I quitre liked it for a while.

I'm ticked off at all the lower tier characters he keeps killing off.
Who was responsible for Bane kills Judomaster? That decision alone makes me want footstomp some DC folks, starting with Didio. I'm tired of the contempt they show for all these characters.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Killraven, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.

No, unfortunately there isn't. Abnett and Lanning were give a good chance to revive some of it and were moderately sucessful, but they got lost in the shuffle of other big crossover events that the public chose to purchase over the groundbreaking things that D&A were doing. It would take Marvel taking their (Opinions may vary) FLAGSHIP cosmic character which is Silver Surfer and putting some seriously talented (And well known) Creative Muscle behind him to help bring the cosmic stuff back.

Oh well. I guess F4 and FF will have to settle for now.
Some of the charm might have been lost if you'd had to sit by the window for a few weeks, waiting for the mailman to bring you the secret decoder that was needed to decipher those words of wisdom.

........and don't get me started on the Red Circle fiasco.:tired
Well, Butch, I'm here to testify that thanks to DC (instead of Ovaltine), I had my own "Ralphie" experience as a kid...the anxious wait for a mailaway decoder, followed by disappointment after figuring out my first secret message.
In my case, the decoder was part of the membership kit for the Supermen of America fan club of sorts. IIRC, the decoder was actually a small folder that enabled club members to decipher a monthly message in Action Comics.
Upon doing so, it was learned that one should be sure to read the next issue of Superman!
Arrggghhh.
That said...the celluloid pinback button was the best part of the membership kit and was actually pretty cool.
Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!
