It's almost comical how low his stats are in relation to the rest of the seemingly overblown stats of this set.
The only one of those stats being low that really hurts him is his defense (and to some extent his movement)
Sure he's got a low chance of actually hitting a big figure on a mind control but if he's latched onto a mob of pieces he's going to draw attention and hopefully keep making his shapechange in order to buy your actual heavy hitters a lot of time.
D2 Priest of the Dice Gods
Guard Capture: BM001 Batman, GL Batman, Taskmaster with IG, Metron. Inmates mistreated: FF Nightwing, IC149 Wolvie
A very good and accurate depiction of scarecrow. With a defend piece (penguin fro. Aa) and his perplex, he could be running around with a 18-19 defense on top. Not a piece to build around, but still a great piece. Most accurate piece from this set so far
It would be cool to see Scarecrow poison a swarm of opposing characters and Mind Controlling a group for free. That a lot of free actions in the beginning of a turn before any actual actions take place.

I'm very happy with this piece, and mostly agree here except for regarding the attack where his perplex and TA should help him out. He'll be a lot of fun to play against mastermind figures!

Exactly my thoughts. For 85 pts and having to rely on making rolls for that MC power, a 10 AV would have been a very nice thing to have. Or just a bonus to AV when using MC.
Poison is reducible...many time is useless...16 defense with nothing...he needs stealth, or i can easily shoot him...for now is a disapointment, he is the second villain in the first movie...i hope in the next previews he can gets some defense or stealth.
85 pts for an awesome trait. Better in 600 pt matches where you your opponent is more likely to ignore him because of the 1 damage giving you freedom to base the opposing Support or secondary attackers and wreak havok.
If he poisons 5 people does he get to attack each person one at a time? (This will matter for who is friendly when)
This is a trickier question than it would seem at first.
I could see it being housed ruled that since the poison damage happens simultaneously, the mind control would be a single multi-target attack which would seem the easiest way to handle this, but unless there's a precedent for assuming a singular can contextually be read as plural, it doesn't technically read that way:
"Fear and Control: Scarecrow can use poision; when a character takes damage from his poision, Scarecrow can immediately use mind control as a free action targeting that character and take no damage based on its point value."
Just a thought on his Mind Control - even if he hits a more than one figure with poison, he'd only be able to use Mind Control on one figure right? Because of the "only one use of the same free action" rule?
Looks like we'll need some clarification here.
Personally, I'm hoping that he'll be able to mind control everyone he hits with poison, but I'm thinking it'll be just one character.
Still, I love this preview, and this set. So far all of the movie figures have been awesome, and I hope they do more movie figs in the future, and maybe even go back to some movies that were previously made (like Blade or Daredevil, etc.). Stuff like this has me very excited for the future of 'clix!

As soon as I typed my question, I thought about the one free action rule. I'm guessing you just get to pick on of the hit characters.
