league clock Issue
Prior to League One beginning, I requested HCO change the clock to the same one that is used for tournament. I warned them of the problems that would occur otherwise. Since day one of the league we have had constant debated games due to this problem. I have complained each week. The reply I always get is that " we will get it fixed but cant promise when". Well, the only way to get it fixed it is for you guys to complain loud enough for thm to do something. You need to complain at HCO and not here. A thread has already been started and I suggest you comment/endorse it unless you are satisfied with the current system and you are willing to lose a game that you actually have won...it will eventually happen to everyone.

I think you should be able to finish the entire attack as long as it started before time ended. Let's make sure that's how the next league works.

No can do. I would love this to be the case but until they fix the clock this will not work either. Hco cannot verify what occurs after the ??? Time, meaning that this is their checkpoint. If the game continues onward then it opens up another can of worms as it will be one player word vs another. Plus you get into things like when did the action start, what other actions can occur, and when did those actions complete. There is no way for us to know which is why a tournament clock was requested to begin with. The tournament clock allows actions to complete, throws in a variable extended time, and self ends the game. The current system allows for clock manipulation and distatefull endings. If you want that to change it needs mass complaining as they seem to not understand the scope of the problem. I am but one voice and have been requesting this change every week since before league one started.

Hey look... they say its coming out next week or the week after.
-----
A feature is planned to go live either next week (the 10th of May) or possibly the week following. This feature will allow casual match creators to flag their match to time out and end when the master timer runs out.

It will operate in exactly the same manner as a tournament match
-----

It's being fixed, and we can all get our panties out of a wad now.

That will mean playing league two for 5 to 12 days without the fix unless I delay it one to two weeks. This has been left up to me but I would prefer to have opnions here.

I would delay the league if it's not a big issue. I think it would be good to have some prep time before the next league starts anyway. Waves have peaks and valleys...a bigger valley sometimes yields a bigger peak.

I say just start the league. What if you wait and then they say "Oops it's going to be another week" and just keep getting pushed back? We played an entire league with it like it was so what's another week.

But we can't just implement a "last action" rule?

If we could have done that then we would have done it from the start...and yes that is how it should have been.

I much as I would like to see something be done, I know by experience when you complain on their forums about their program enough, you will get banned.

They don't like being told that there are problems.
