Looking at the evidence thread for CW, it seems much of the set is already known (I count 37 figures of, what, a possible 50ish?)...that said, I know we're getting Speed, but it sure would be grand to see a fresh take on the Young Avengers. There's so little to like about their first iterations (except Hawkeye, she's great, and maybe Wiccan).

Rereading that series recently, as well as Children's Crusade, reminded me how awesome those characters and their stories are and how great it'd be to see a remake.

I see no reason why they won't be a subset. We're do for a Patriot or Changeling that doesn't suck.

I like Stature too. 50 points and she can block other giants and she can tag a figure two squares out.

I'd be glad to have the YA's as one and done. Maybe redos when they have a series again, or a powers upgrade. And I will always hate Patriot because of the horrible retcon with "The Truth" series.

I'm just glad to see Speed finally getting done, though at this point I have already disregarded the YA theme even though I liked the original Heinberg series.

You could really feel the editorial hand come down near the end of Children's Crusade to merely just set-up AvX.

I'd rather have more Initiative or Academy members now.

i would love a new YA team that wont get my ### kicked when i use them.
Ive been saying for months that if they bring back the Duo figs a Wiccan/Hulkling would be amazing.

Would have been better to make them (or anything else for that matter) than the Nth version of Iron Man, Wolverine, Thor and Captain America this year !

Oh you mean the characters that move sets? Sorry but as long as Heroclix is around every set is going to have 5-10 of the most mainstream characters you can imagine. And incase you haven't heard there was this little movie that just came out that has already made a billion dollars. Don't you think WK would be smart to try and take advantage of that fact?

So the only active members of the team are Hawkeye, Speed, Wiccan and Hulkling. I'd like to see updates of them, but I think we're due some Avengers: The Initiative and Avengers Academy figures first. I'm talking Gauntlet, Tigra, Jocasta, MVP/KIA, Scarlet Spiders, Cloud 9, Striker, Giant Man, Reptil, Mettle, etc.

I am just glad that after five years, Wiccan will be able to fully use his carry trait to carry his own teammates. I mean, seriously, you give a guy the ability to carry multiple teammates but find umpteen ways for his teammates not to be carried.

I think I've gotten some use of the team in 200-pt. games. Or I use them as a supporting cast around a tentpole figure; teaming them with Devil Dinosaur was funny once. Definitely stick Camouflage on Hulking and/or Iron Lad.

Otherwise, yes, if we could get a few more options for them, like a new Patriot, that'd be nice.

Well we're getting Speed, and with Wizkids' love of sculpt reuse, I think we'll get a proper YA Vision as well.

Due to the end of the Children's Crusade,

Hawkeye is actually really good, so I don't need to see her again. Wiccan is playable, but could have a more creative dial. Patriot and Hulkling had the two worst dials of the bunch, so I'd like to see them remade somewhere down the line.

Before that days comes though, I want the following superhero teams that include youngsters first:

Avengers Initiative- Gauntlet, Triathlon/3D Man II, Trauma, Komodo, Cloud 9, MVP/KIA/Scarlet Spiders, Armory, Bengal, Ultra Girl, Rage, Slapstick, Debrii, Prodigy, Butterball

Runaways- Alex Wilder, Klara Prast

Avengers Academy- Mettle, Hazmat, Finesse, Reptil, Striker, Veil, Ricochet

Young X-Men- Anole, Blindfold, Dust, Rockslide, Hellion, Mercury, Surge, Pixie, Loa, Wither, etc.
