After Thugit's successful K.O. list with one of his favorite characters, I've decided to go back to my roots and start a K.O. thread with one of my own favorite figs: Namor. Here is the chronicle of his matches:

I will play Namor as much as possible, ignoring my more competitive side and delving into one of my favorite characters.

Rules:
- I will play any Namor I want to, but I will focus on GG #009(the 120 point transporter)
- I will play Namor on any team, themed or otherwise.
- I will not restrict myself to a higher standard; i.e. I WILL play him with TK.
- I will not play the gauntlet attached to Namor until I can play it with all the gems attached.
- I will lose a game if it means more K.O.s for Namor.
- I will play Namor in every game I can, on every team I can.
- Anybody who questions King Namor's ankle wings will be dealt with swiftly.

My first game I played against the dreaded Manhattan. With the Gauntlet attached.

My team was a bit laid back with Loki for 220, Uatu for 400 and GG Namor for 120, and Mistress Death for 233.

My opponet, Thugit, played Dr. Manhattan and Dr. Manhattan (the collossal with the Gauntlet and the 150 pt version.)
It was not pretty. the highlight was Dr. Manhattan getting the power Gem and hitting Uatu for 10 clicks. Here is the best way to describe the match.......

2012:
Namor is flying over the deep, sparkling waves in midafternoon. Seagulls fly alongside him as the sun beat down on his back. He is pondering deep thoughts, as men often do when they are alone with no meetings scheduled.
Namor had eliminated a crew of poaching fisherman three days ago, and quenched an uprising in the depths of Dead Sea last week. The X-Men are safe, and so is his Kingdom.
As he flies along, Namor sees a boat, and a deep red spot in the water below. More fishermen overharvesting in his water. He stops flying, and begin to drop, rather than fly, allowing gravity to do the work. Namor lands on the deck of the ship with such force, the steel decking ripples like still water beneath him. He begins to walk toward the captain with a cold hard face of pure rage. King Namor raises his fist to kill the wretched man before him, then vanishes. The captain feels a cool billow of air push past his face, and a warm trickle run down his leg.

1978.
Namor, The Atlantean born mutant, is in a room with one powerful being in two forms; a fifty foot tall blue man, working on something two stories up, and another such man, only of normal stature. For a human. The smaller man, an intelligent-looking human, looks Namor up and down like he's reading a chart.
No words are spoken. A watcher appears. Namor is already concerned. He has seen the watchers before, during times of hardship or instability. Then, Thor's brother, the pale one with the golden horns, appears by Namor, looking just as confused as the King. Cold Goosebumps run down Namor's body. He is sure everyone feels it except the Blue man who is standing by a door that says "Ostermen." Lady Death is in the Blue man's laboratory as well. The blue Being points at Loki, who bursts in flame and disappears. Dr. Manhattan shoots a beam of pure energy at The Watcher, causing him to teleport away in pain. The blue Dr. Ostermen then causes Lady Death's mass to increase by such a great degree, she folds in on herself. A cosmic anomaly occurs as a result. The blue man walks to the black hole and closes it with his bare hands. He then looks at Namor.
Suddenly, Namor is turned inside out, and his mass is stretched throughout an infinite length of space, then reduced to an indistinguishably small piece of reality's fabric.

2012. Again.
He is back on the poacher's ship so quickly he cannot even register the amount of pain he endured. The Submariner feels very small all of a sudden.
At the sight of the black-haired, muscle-clad man's return, the captain feels the warm sensation a second time.

3 games, 2 KOs for the mighty lord Namor. He took the lives of one Astral Strange and the herald, Red Shift in two 400 point battle royals with four players.

Not exactly the best format for the Atlantean, but he did his best to bust skulls.

The impotent team he had for backup were to blame, I'm sure.

Because of my venue's tumultuous status right now, I have no new reports on Namor's skull-crackin'.
The insignificant homo sapiens can't get together to decide a date to do battle, which infuriates the king. Namor has not broken anything in at LEAST a couple days.

So Namor will look for conflict at home (assuming my brother wants to play a friendly game soon).

There will always be clix at the Antiquarium at noon on Saturdays.

There's been some "behind the scenes" confusion, but the store is ALWAYS going to have clix on Saturdays, as long as people show up. That's been Matt's plan all along.

Namor's next throwdown has finally been scheduled by the pathetic whelp humans.
King Namor is working with the Illuminati Saturday, but he is beginning to feel his hatred for the pathetic race boil back up. Blackbolt is acting more odd than usual...

So, next event is a practice run for IG #6.

Namor and the Illuminati battled against a first time clixer in the first round, who was using a mix-match team of figures. Namor felt pity for the new player, and didn't KO any of his figs(missing three attacks in a row helped Namor decide not to KO any of them... ).

In the second round, Namor and the Illuminati fought against a particularly evil opponet: My brother. He set down team of shield agents and, winning the map roll, picked the Helicarrier map.
S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were interfering in a matter beyond their level of power and the Illuminati had to put them down.
Although Quasar escaped Namor's grasp, falling instead to Iron Man, namor was able to KO

He even KO'd a pesky AVM Agent COulson #206 after taking a direct hit from the destroyer-inspired gun.
Agent Coulson got a damage bump from perplex and CRIT-HIT Namor for three. My brother and I both yelled "So That's what it does!" at the same time.

the third round I played against an old player who has recently started playing again. He played an excellent FF team with the Power Pack as sacrifices for FF team healing. Namor was based by FF Thing #104 early and, with some outwit from professor X, hit thing for six(heavy object in hand) damage, finishing off Benjamin. Namor was more than happy to crush his old rocky foe.
Namor went on to toss FF She Thing (# 025) across the town, and beat up a couple kids; Mass Master and Lightspeed.

Altogether, Namor had a good evening. I went 3-0, but so did Daddy man who won 1st with considerably more points. Stupid Galactus. Namor looks forward to defeating the purple idiot.

Don't forget the beating that Fish Stick got from Odin.

Don't mess with his kids.

Namor laughs at gods. Bring it.

Tomorrow morning King Namor will be going on a 110 minute road trip to play at a venue I rarely play at.
