With interest in the other game I play on the wane, I may end up at Origins, entirely dependent on if local people already going have room in the vehicle/hotel accommodations for another and if work agrees to let me keep disappearing.

Leave the convention center and walk three or four blocks north. You'll be in the heart of the Short North. Look for a place called Betty's. Great local food, not too expensive. Also look for Jeni's ice cream. Killer stuff, both are worth missing a round or two of gaming.

I might drive to origins for a day or 2. If I just decide to drive 6 hours Wednesday and buy tickets Wednesday Night or Thursday morning you think I'd be able to get in 2 days of gaming Thursday and Friday? Most people have told me to p[rebuy tickets but this will be travel on a whim. Get the hotel when I get there type of thing. Bad idea?
