So I just went in to a target on my way home from a road trip and bought my first packs of target exclusive gravity feed clix has any1 else had the same issue I had being that some1 basicly just opened all the packs till they found the loki then got it and left all that was there was a lot of open packs and I think its both bad and wrong bad that the store dosent care and wrong of the people who did it. That's what I'm wondering is if people have just been opening the packs to get the loki and leaving a lot of open packs just sitting.

No I have been on vacation checking realms for messages only. I assumed the stores would consider something like that attempted shoplifting since you open the package doing so.

I agree that damaging the packing in order to cherry pick the figures is wrong. But Target has a policy that allows you to open a package such as this in order to verify that you are getting what you pay for.

"I want to buy a Loki figure, so I'm going to open the packages to make sure I get the one I want." Yep, this logic is sound as far as Target is concerned.

There's the other possibility where someone came in, bought EVERYTHING, opened them all at home, kept the ones they wanted, and returned the rest. Target doesn't care about the pieces, only that when they are returned that in the box is a piece.

You should visit the toy aisle, where you'll find Action figures in other toy's packaging, because of the same reason.

I have bought a few of the Walmart foil packs, only to find mismatched cards and figures. I took them back and exchanged them. I actually like the ability to do that if I have a legitimate reason to do so.

But what you are describing just plain stinks.

I've been to multiple Targets. Haven't been able to find a single pack.

Here is something weird I heard about - but haven't witnessed:

A player and his son were telling me they bought a few AVM GF's at Target earlier this week and pulled out Superman and Galactic Guardian Booster figures.

Yeah, that's not weird. What that is is almost certainly someone buying the AVM stuff, taking it home, keeping the AVMs, and reloading the boosters with excess chaff.
Then they return those repacked boosters.

Later on? That player & son you know? They buy some AVM boosters at Target - and get quite the surprise.

Whatever happened to the harder to open packs, like for Green Lantern? I don't recall those being really cherry picked last year...
