If it uses the "real" game mechanics, I could see it useful as a teaching aid. It would be more useful if it allowed teams.

If the miniatures are different dials/sculpts, and usable with, 'ordinary' tabletop HeroClix, I'd definitely buy some. Otherwise, no sale for me.

I can't wait for this. It's so cool watching my son play with his Lightning McQueen car on the Cars app utilizing this technology. Now I get to play as well! Also will be a great gateway for him hopefully. But yay me!
