Savage dragon has been running since 1993. It's one of the founding books of Image that has continued over the years and has maintained a loyal fan base. During the '90's Image comics sales rivaled that of Marvel's, and they were both beating DC. They even rivaled movies at the time. Videogames were just getting their legs under them during the 16 bit wars.

Sure. Videogames are the big dog in the yard right now, but how long will that last? These things go in cycles.

AC might be a great way to bring new fans to the hobby, in theory. But, that doesn't hide the fact that there are a TON of great characters, many of whom are mainstay characters in the comics realms which still NEED to be made.

I'm not even a Savage Dragon fan. But, to say that he, or other characters, shouldn't be looked at simply due to varying levels of being "popular" is just plain wrong. There are fans for just about ANY character throughout pop culture. And many of those have been around much longer and have been much more popular than a lot of people want to believe or give them credit for (ie Booster Gold, Savage dragon, Darkhawk, etc.).

Totally agree ya Yam. The way the Invincible universe has evolved he could have his own set now with Viltrumites, Gaurdians of the Globe and Tech Jacket. Also you got Spawn, Savage Dragon, Hack/Slash it goes on and on.
WK really needs to revisit Indy. Those clix were so weak compared to Marvel?DC it would be cool to see them with Traits and specials.

WK score with this. I have a lot of friends that don't play heroclix but if they see Assasin's creed clix, they will play. I want a "Hitman" marquee figure (and a good one to make punisher fans cry.)

Assassin's Creed always had cool looking character designs. It's a shame the sculpts they've shown so far just look bad.

Now let's get some No More Heroes/Lollipop Chainsaw clix!

You'd think they could do a fast forces of it. Though which characters would the use, comic book would only be Arthur and the Tick... Live action and cartoon didn't even have the same main characters... hmmmm This could be the problem.

Meh, not a big fan as Assassins Creed. But hopefully it means I am a step closer to Mortal Kombat or Resident Evil Clix.

If it ain't been said already, I think this set reminds me greatly of the original Indy Clix set eight years ago.

WizKids needs to start listening to the players and start making more un-clixed characters like Sleepwalker and Jimmy Olsen.

Megaman X
Megaman Legends

And for the younger generation if this is popular enough
Megaman Battle Network
Megaman Star Force
Megaman Zero
Megaman ZX

Many possibilities there. Plus more marvel vs capcom characters (dante viewtiful joe amateseru those types) seriously street fighter finally made some marvel vs capcom possible, but the street fighters are harder to equal against a marvel team.

Yea. Alotta people hate it. I loved it when it came out. Maybe I was 13...buuuut I remember seeing the movie then seeking out the comics by Eagle. Those Dredd books blew me away and I realized the movie just wasn't Dredd......
