I want to like this generic, but I have never seen them (or their AA 22-point brethren) do well in numbers. The new DKR versions address the shortcomings of these AA versions: The Underworld TA to aid in deployment, and a nominal 4 range so that they don't always have to move/be moved to get into base-to-base contact.
I had two of these guys at the Brave and the Bold marquee, and they tore up the joint. I think I ended up making a 5 or better for that power like six times during that tournament, including two rolls of 6 on a Wizard Shazam!. Didn't win the tournament, but I was happy to get most of my points from roughly 50 points worth of figures.
