This week Steve and Gudda talk about their top 5 faves from Galactic Guardians, Venom and Con stuff.

Forgot to mention another reason I like Astral Strange. You can shoot through him...So if you are stealth and put a few of these around you, no one regular character can charge you without getting these outta the way first. Characters with Giant Reach can still punch you though.

$50 dollars I could pay for venom but $125, like what the price is for Dr. Fate, is ridiculous! I sure hope they do this so college students like me can afford them.

I like the podcast, but the TV sounds in the background and heavy breathing into the microphone makes it hard to listen sometimes. Thanks for posting.

I know the tv was not a problem this time. Now my heavy breathing is somthing I don't know what to do about. I can't breath threw my nose. I never had a diagnosed reason ss why, I am just a mouth breather. We don't have all the fancy tech to help filter that stuff out.. I try to keep the Mic away from my mouth as best I can.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I surmised after listening to once again a most wonderful Clixcast, that not only was Steve coughing but apparently your wife too. To add to that, I think I heard Gudda coughing as well. Now I am no CDC specialist but it sounds like to me with you guys obviously not being in close proximity to each other that a possible outbreak is occurring! On another note, although I am but a newbie in Heroclix terms, it is my opinion that it would be beneficial to WizKids if they would have con-exclusive clix for sale via local comic shops or online. I am definitely a fan of who is on the dial and not what numbers make up the dial but I think that if you want to be successful player than that is a fine line you must learn to master. I got into these clix for the characters but I am learning quickly that if I am going to win than I have to focus on the numbers. Thank you guys once again for educating and entertaining me with your knowledge of Heroclix! Go Celtics!

Your are correct. I and my wife have this insane cough that will not go away. I use a Snowball Mic, which is one of the best but unfortunately there is no "MUTE" button. Hopefully by next week the blasted cough will be gone.
As for Gudda he is 800 miles away so i can't speak for him, except I know he has a crappy mic (working on upgrading him) and honestly I forgot to run a noise filter on him this week, which usually cuts out some of the breathing.

Hey, guys! I'm a relatively new listener (since about 97), but I'm thoroughly enjoying what I've heard so far. You remind me of a friend of mine and I when we talk about stuff, actually. I'm the Gudda! Anyway, good job with the Cast. I look forward to listening every week. I enjoy the interviews with insiders, but I think my favorite part is when you talk at length about game issues such as Hypersonic or company related things like con exclusives and production issues. Just like on the 'Realms, I kind of zone out when talking about the con exclusive dials, because I'll never, ever get one, but I enjoyed the top five.

Keep up the good work. I also live in an area without a vibrant clix scene, Steve, so I feel your pain. Our store can only really order one brick per set, and sometimes doesn't even sell those, unless I or the other two players in town preorder from him. We didn't even get the FCBD Thors. Drat.

Also, I love the opening song, as does my 14-year-old, who plays with me.

Yes, I was busy for a week, then I didn't realize Gudda was going on a trip. But we are all back now and trying to get organized. We should be rocking a podcast out later this week...nothing too spectacular though
