Funny Distribution Errors?

Ever had one of these? I have.

I picked up the LOTR starter set yesterday. I opened the bag with the cards and maps, and I noticed something right off: there was a card for PUNISHER! I looked at the card closely, and noticed that it was the GF Punisher. Lurtz's card was not there, so I assumed this card was placed in accidentally.

I recall years ago back pre-CUR days someone where I was playing at the time pulled a purple ring unique out of a booster

That's nothing compared to what happened to another miniature game. A set of markers were placed on the wrong pack... for a whole batch.

Probably for Origins; lots of purple rings in that set.

Was it Supernova or Sinister? I seem to recall it came along with a Hydra figure. I know the picture floats around from time to time.

All of the starts, at my venue, had the same problem with Lurtz and Punisher card being switched.

I baoght a DKR single at Target the other day that has Joker's Henchman #3's figure and dial, but Bruce Wayne's dial top. Which makes me think we better get a new Matches Malone out of all these damn Batman sets this year.

I guess this is much more of a production error, but during Galactic Guardians I pulled an Astral Dr. Strange with a Doombot head. And it wasn't a gray face on a blue body; it was all the same translucent blue, Just with a Doombot head on Strange's body. So Dr. Doom: Sorcerer Supreme has become my offical mascot during clix games.

Yes , you are right, it was with a Hydra figure. I was thinking they were from Supernova for some reason. My boss, comical, was the one to pull it. I'll see if I can get him to repost the pic on this thread.

I got an uncommon #014 Hulk from Avengers Movie from a Target Gravity feed box. The card was for the correct #202 Hulk, but everything else was the regular uncommon (crappy) hulk.
