I don't know if he is worth a 139 pts but he is pretty freaking good!
"Hey let's make a guy that can kick all the Avengers butts!"
"Yeah, he can use Cap's Shield, Swordsman's Sword and Hawkeye's Bow!"
"AND we'll make him look like Skeletor!"
"Sweet, now what do we do to counter act some of this awesomeness?"
"I dunno? Give him a really lame costume with a cape hood and knee high boots?"
"YES!"

You are not a Jedi yet! Trade me?
Just so you know.We are all infected.
I love how people pick a fight and decide that's the definitive fight to base a characters point value on. Sure, Moon Knight beat him once. Sure, a bunch of low level characters have beaten him at some point or another. However, Taskmaster has fought squads of the Avengers to a standstill several times as well. He's fine at 139 points.
I just became five degrees more interested in Chaos War. Taskmaster has been a fav of mine for a long time, I really almost cried whenthe Avengers set dropped out the redux and his Photographic Reflexes hurt him...for 140?
At least the new version makes up for it, but does it over do the accuracy of the character now? I mean really, can he copy mind control or supersonic speed? A bit beyond the actual Taskmaster's scope...but game has never been too close to the comics anyway.
Here's to supersonic'ing ya face with my new Taskmaster...for 3 .

Well, he DOES watch kung-fu movies in fast forward in an effort to mimic the moves at superhuman speeds. He can only maintain this output for a short period of time due to the strain it puts on his body. Mimicing HSS is a bit much, but not out of the realm of believability for this comic book character.

YOU SHUT YOUR FILTHY WHO-ER MOUTH! TASKMASTER IS THE MOST AMAZING THING IN THE HISTORY OF FOREVER!
Anyway...for a guy that had planned to get virtually nada from this set...with Sinister and Taskmaster revealed to be SR I think my wife will just have to deal with us skipping our trip to "wherever" for our 10th anniversary so I can buy a couple of cases lol.
Forgiveness is devine, but never pay full price for late pizza.
I just pulled the Avengers set Taskmaster out of a pack this week. Wow, does this ever show how much tougher the current figures are. For one point more than this new one, the old one has two lower defense on his starting click, supersenses instead of Invul, and doesn't have the Enhancement/Leadership special power. So, for a point less, this fig gets a lot more than the old one!
Justice for Jimmy Olsen!! Superman's Pal needs to be clixed!
