I'm the wrong person to ask this to as I liked both sets. Hulk needed an actual Hulk I'd say at the time I was more annoyed with the people saying Hulk should only ever be 150 points "He's not ThatStrong"

Thank god for Movie Hulk one repaint of pants and all good as others have said.

Chaos war or as it should have stayed Mighty Avengers Is great to me as I have the full Run of Mighty Avengers and its cool to see so much of them in this set including characters I didn't think we would get "Hi to you Unspoken"

Crazy nice Hawkeye finally a cool Zemo Small Sentinels A modern Thor sculpt that doesn't look like he was shrunk in the wash...

Then you get the Chases and some additions to teams (Wish we got more in some cases) But some is better than none.

Have to say I really enjoyed this year of Clix so many figs that should have been made long ago or made and Remakes of figs that got snubbed in the past. (please let 10th Ann give us an actual Spider-man)

No complaints here bring on the Wolverine and the X-men set!!!
so I can wait for the 2nd Origins movie to get a definitive Wolverine that should have been in the set named after him....

Hulk didn't suck...Casue I got a new Black Bolt!!! But Chaos War is def. better, imo...

Yeah, it's been my hope that these sets were made as a trio, and once they're over we can get back to awesome stuff. Like X-men!

hulk gave me ciaera,skarr,red king, white tiger,black tarantula,man wolf/beast, and a slew of other fig that's never been made before. i can't be mad at that. while the hulks sucked(except HOM) i can deal.

chaos war should have never been named that. mighty avengers was a great name considering the set selection. with that being said, i don't like it too much. too many of the same old figures, and figures i didn't need again. i would have really liked to see some avengers academy guys in there, but no. i would have loved to see some avengers that needed to get made, but no. the chases are nothing but reused sculpts(except 2), why??? why label something as valueable and something worth chasing when you did nothing to make it worthy of that??

so i'm gonna go with chaos war as the biggest dissapointment. character selection is lame. chases are lame. more dials are lame and the only figures i really want are sr's.

Other than the off the charts sculpt re-use, (Really? Sticking a tail on Shanna and calling her Tigra? Really?) I am totally digging this set. I don't need any more Madame Masques (not even her generic duplicates) but other than that, I am stoked for the entire set.

CW has the finest looking array of SRs I've seen in a long time and the Chases (though naturally egregious) are pretty freakin' sweet too. But even the CUR pieces are great.

I've no problems at all with Chaos War. Not really.

the main problem i have is all the damned generics i dont want.

Shadow dudes - no one cares, HUGE waste
Masque - ditto
Lava Man - im sure someone cares...somewhere...maybe?
Space Phantoms - should have stayed in the GF

basically only like 5 of the commons arent pointless. it gets better and better as the rarity moves up though.

I think chaos war is a bigger disapointment due to it being too close to AVM... but hulk is a close second...

I'm super new but this will be the first set I don't buy at least a brick of. I'll buy some boosters here and there (sealed, boredom...whatever.)

I know that this will likely be my last case preorder for the forseeable future. Just can't swing it, and the value in the boosters makes recouping losses problematic.

I really do view this set as the Avengers version of GSX... The duo chases only seal the deal.

Well I didn't want any from any Marvel (except the AVM) at first, with the Hulk and GG sets I got a couple singles and left it at that.

But the Chaos War stuff has enticed me to buy more

Well seeing as I might be the only poster on this board that sees the Great Lakes Avengers as what they were intended to be, which is, you know, a joke, the fact that there's one GLA in the set at ALL annoys me. Like, do you REALLY want to play with these figures? I'm all for new characters being clixed, but I could think of 20 more characters that deserve to be made (or re-made) more than Dinah Soar. (Off the top of my head: Son of Satan, Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Voodoo, X-Man, Avengers Academy [more on that later], Wiccan, Hiroim, maybe a NON-DUO SCARLET WITCH...you know, the usual.)

So the fact that we have one is annoying, but it's better than having two or more. That being said, if #48 turns out to be Flat-Man and Big Bertha, I may have to choke a #####.

Avengers Academy should've been featured in this set. It was a mistake not to include them. Ditto for not including the Mighty/Worthy, or at least The Serpent; Fear Itself may have been a complete and utter abomination as a story, but at least it produced some cool versions of characters. And if they're making Young Avengers, there's a few that desperately need remakes...namely, all of them.

Also, I find it strange that they advertised Wanda so heavily with this set, but the only non-duo form of her is in the Fast Forces. I honestly wanted the Wanda that killed the Avengers, the Wanda that warped the entire universe into the House of M, and the one that's currently being a total, utter badass in Avengers vs. X-Men. That's not a spoiler, btw, get off my back.

Does anyone really give two ####s about Space Phantoms and Lava Men? Masque duplicates? No? Get rid of them. Give me more Masters of Evil. Give me an Absorbing Man, a Titania, a Whirlwind, a Melter. Give me a single-based Mockingbird, a Life Force-enabled Scarlet Witch...and if this set was changed from Mighty Avengers to Chaos War, where's my Sersi, my Daimon Hellstrom, and, most importantly, my über-powerful all-father Hercules?!

Don't get me wrong. I like this set. I've already pre-ordered a Case and a Fast Forces, because they did a lot right: Avengers Prime, Sentry/Void, Mr. Sinister (thanks Morand), Void, Unspoken, Taskmaster, Kang, good solid rares, awesome SRs, interesting Chases (depending on what you pull)...the commons and uncommons are a complete fail. I can't wait to get this set on Wednesday, but, like most sets lately, I think it could have been so much more.
