No, i was serious. And yeah, i did know most of the set had been previewed. Not that big a fan of pet avengers, so to each his own, I guess.

We havent even gotten an explanation on why we got so many Hulk's, and not a single one who gets better as he gets hit.

But that is not the point. He isn't complaining that there isn't enough, he's complaining that he was mislead about how many there were in the set. Imagine they made a set called "amazing spider-man" and then only had one spider-man and 59 x-mem, it is an extreme example but when something is listed as a sub-theme to me that means 5 figures.

One figure/duo does not make a sub-theme.

This is very close to false advertising and makes for a strong case, especially with the way OP laid out the other sub-themes.

Pet Avengers fans could've bought into this set for the sub-theme and gets just a duo...at a Super Rare rarity, no less?

With the huge amount of products, we don't have to pre-order massively in order to get something anymore. My advice is : do like myself, don't pre-order at all. Wait to know what is in the set, and go secondary market. If everyone do that, they will sell less, and perhaps we will have problems with availability for one set or two, but they will get the message.

I pre-order because my store bases their initial stock on how much is pre-ordered. Also, my store drops the price down to 90 for a brick if you pre-order and pay in cash.

Hard to pass up the deal.

The point is, you can't run a marketing plan on the basis of "wait and see".

Also, I doubt that would work considering Heroclix is WZ's new cash cow. It's a good thought though, and if only.

Solid point. I can see why the OP and other would be upset with the minimal amount of sub-themed characters as advertised way back when. But if I haven't put my money down and am not locked into buying anything, it becomes just water off a ducks back.

He was my first thought for a hulk set (followed immediately by Amadeus Cho) was quite dissapointed ar his lack of appearance

I can't figure out how some folks are not understanding this....or even bother to post if they have nothing to add. You need a life.

The point here is if they had advertised, say, Captain America with the sub-theme of Winter-Guard or Secret Warriors, and then had only Phobos and Darkstar in the set, we'd all be scratching our heads.

I do not like Pet Avengers, let's get that out of the way.....but how in the world is EyePawd wrong about anything here? I don't care if they re-use sculpts, push dates back or whatever, that's WK business. Knowingly mis-leading customers? BAD MOJO...

Eh, CW as a whole has turned me off of pre-ordering cases. Can't justify spending the bread.
