Welcome to the Disney Villain off. The contest to determine who the ultimate Disney Villain is!

I have compiled a list of the Disney Villain Elite and they will compete to see who takes it. This is not a fighting completion. You are voting for who is more dastardly, cunning or downright despicable. The question is simple... who makes the better villain?

I limited it to one villain per film, which means films with multiple villains will not have all theirs represented. I tried to pick whichever one from that film was most iconic.

Now, allow me to introduce our next match...

MALEFICENT (Sleeping Beauty)

Fate: Gets slain by Prince Phillip with the Sword of Truth and fell down of the cliff

I gotta stick to Maleficent. She's just too damn evil to ignore. I respect Frollo as a villain (even if I haven't seen Hunchback in a hell of a long time), but Malef was one of the first villains I ever saw and the first I remember loving. She takes this. Maleficent to advance.

And these are my final 2....

Giving it to maleficent here. Ideally, this should have been the final 2.

But if we are going to compare these two, Mal would make Frollo shudder and cry like a baby. You can't say the same for reverse. There is a reason why Maleficent rules over the Disney villains.

Mal for sure.

Frollo for me. One could argue that Mal is classic villain, but she suffers the same way that Seinfeld does. She broke a lot of ground, but now years later it's all been done to death, so it isn't interesting anymore. Frollo has meat to his performance, and is edgy as hell for a Disney flick.

Although I see what you're getting at, that's kind of unfair statement. It's like saying that Wilt Chamberlin is just okay because he doesn't play in the NBA now. There is a reason why Mal's getting her own feature made, and it's because she's totally bada--

Ugh. I am torn. Born are despicable villains, one using religion to oppress his followers and the other exacting a "death" revenge for being ignored.

I will break the tie by voting for Frollo. It was something not particularly seen at the time for any movie, let alone Disney. The way he uses (abuses) his faith and position, never truly embracing the ideals that he preaches, yet he brings forth an air of human weakness in that though he wants to keep up his appearances, he is prone to even the most basic desires of all man. He holds himself in higher regard than all those around him even though he is no better than anyone.

He didn't have all the powers of Hell at his disposal, yet he still manages to invoke fear in all around him. That says a lot in my book.
