This map would be ideal for someone like Cosmic Spidey whose line of fire in never blocked. Smokey-Feat Cap is another good one for this.
Of course, you have the new mechanics of "Improved Movement" and "Improved Targeting".
My local tournament for IG7 is 300 constructed with a CW Floor, so no Cosmic Spidey. We're not doing this as a Sealed because this week's match, with the release of CW, is going to be a sealed tournament.
I'm guessing it's the shadows cast on the map by the "players". One is definitely Grandmaster (the top of the map). I think the other is Thanos.
What I like is the fact that one of the blocking terrain islands has a little two square hindering pathc in the side of it. My guess is that is where Thanos caught Grnadmaster unawares in the story as well.
I blog. God help me, I'm one of those people now.
. . . considering that he's missing both the spoon and the milk from his bowl of psycho nuts . . . -Techno, in Thunderbolts, regarding Graviton

I see that, now. What I originally saw as a face covering the map had me thinking it was a self-portrait, hence why I saw it as similar to this image. Seeing what must the intended shadows now makes more sense, but I think I was tricked by the glossy finish picking up light where none was intended. Silly me.
Bingo! Anyone who's read Infinity Gauntlet remembers Thanos and Grandmaster facing off over a chess board.
Technically all these HeroClix scenarios happened in "The Thanos Quest" Starlin two-issue series leading up to Infinity Gauntlet after Thanos acquired the gems.
Not trying to call anybody out, it's just I'm old and remember reading it when it first came out (after forgetting about it and then having HeroClix jog my memories of all too much time spent reading those unhealthy comic books when I was a kid!).
