I dig the mini game reports on how things played. Keep it up.
I didn't know if he was a rube, a souse, a wiseacre, a hophead, or a bright-boy, but I knew for sure that I didn't like him.

Don't blame me, I voted for Luthor!

Do you know why the number 200 so aptly describes both of us? It's your weight and my IQ.

I like your reviews Mr. mouse, but Thor as 4rating? That Blizzard power is just too much of a hindrance IMO. You have to build a team that doesn't need to range from further than 6-squares.
Just seems like too much to worry about. Thors stats are solid, but the power is just a roadblock on the whole map. 3rating is what I would give him...
But everything else is on point. Always like these articles.

I ran a lot of rares (2 of 4 on my team).

Wasp is as good as they say, especially when paired with Madame Masque (Leadership to adjust her tokens). I constantly forgot that Tiny could be used to sit between characters and not block fire, so keep that in mind (especially in the Negative Zone Prison).

Quicksilver is challenging to use, but he's still very good. Neither of these maps are kind to him, but the Prison is slightly better. Teamed as he was with Masque, Wasp, and Loki, I could support his weaknesses pretty well, and he was a major part of how I beat a Sentry/Hawkeye team; still, he's the same cost as a primary attacker and can't fill that without help.

Thanks for voting Blink! (Artwork a commission from Alex0wens)

Where does it say this? The PAC only states the following for tiny size:

Modify this character’s defense value by +1 against ranged combat attacks. A friendly character that is larger and adjacent can use the Carry ability to carry up to one character, does not reduce its speed value for doing so and can continue to use the Carry ability if it can normally. This ability can’t be countered.

I guess my questions to you would be... how many figures in the set have greater than 6 range? Of those figures how many of them fit on a 300 point team with Thor?

The answer is: 1 figure.

Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Hawkeye

So I'm not sure it is as big a hindrance as you think.

The primers usually rate figures on their own accord. As you and Saturnflight mentioned, you played him with Perplex. When I saw him played, people were forgetting to modify his defense with each Flurry.

I'm curious though, how many other people attended the event? Because that can play a big part in things as well.

In any event I'd never tell someone not to play a figure. If you get the right pulls, he could be phenomenal. 2x Sharon Carter, Hawkeye, & Quicksilver would make an amazing Stealthy, Hypersonic, double Peprlexing Avengers team.

Couldn't agree more. I read all of Mouse's reviews even when they are for sets I don't really plan to play. This added element really gets me hype for the new figures.
Incorrigible X-Men and Avengers fanboy.

You also played 400 sealed. Of course Pietro rates higher in 400.

Just do me a favor and have WizKids send me a brick early with every set.

This is one of the rare times I've gotten to play with figures on an actual release day... and I paid a pretty penny for it too!

Nine out ten games he's going to face teams sporting Super Strength with 4+ printed damage? What a stale scene that sounds like — there's only 18 Modern Age figures that can do that, barring Perplex or the even rarer SStr+CCE combo.

Don't underestimate the tiny pieces, I won with:

Ant-Man #026
Wonderman #028
Wasp #030
Tigra #036

Tigra Didn't miss a super senses, and with her flurry blades and wasp stings everything went down rather quickly. My final match was a tough one versus the Unspoken and an ironman drone.
Justice, like lightning, ever should appear to few men's ruin, but to all men's fear.
