I went through feeling for what felt like duo figs or heavier figures, only bought 2 boosters before a sealed event and pulled Doom/Kang, I traded it to someone for 3 sr's that I would acctually use and a frost giant from GSX.
I could care less about most chases, they are only trade fodder or sales fodder to me.
Where do I go to set up a haves/wants list?
I for some odd reason can't find a link to do this.
If this is directed towards me you are right I am Judgmental ###. If I see or hear something that I do not like I say something about it. Cherry Picking falls pretty high on this list. I'm not sure what is selfish about it, all I can tell you is that if you cherry pick you suck.
You have been judged.
I have read your previous post on this thread about this subject, and your approach to people who you feel is cherry picking. So making people feel bad about themselves is your forte. If this is so, then you suck, and do not have social grace.
You have been judged.
P.S. Suggestion here - Get off your high moral ground. This is a game of plastic figurines.
Next time you'd like to point me out and drag my name through mud on a public forum (name being the important thing here) feel free to bash anonymous before you talk to me and address the problem.
He doesn't really need to drag your name through the mud, you are doing a stellar job yourself.
He doesn't really need to drag your name through the mud...
That's eaxctly what I've been saying! It's completely unnecessary!

Please elaborate. I'm curious now.

You boast about how you have found a way to "beat the system" but only you and your friends are benefiting from it. You make a claim saying no one is bothered by it, but when someone pipes up and claims otherwise, you rip him and accuse him of slander when I can't see anything wrong with what he said (btw, you should look into the difference between slander and libel). IMO, you are not painting yourself in a great light.

That's a pretty fair assessment, I'd say. Here's what I've got for you.
1. This guy has never told me (or implied, really) that he had an issue. To the best of my knowledge, nobody cared.
2. Number 1 is based on the notion that I'm biased. I'm not, he hasn't asked or made any specific wants known.
3. The "beating of the system" took a long, long time to conjure up, and quite a bit of efort on my part. I'm quite certain it's a fleeting thing, and the factors used to facilitate it will close eventually.
I understand what you're saying, I was certainly offended that he popped out and claimed (for the first time to me) that he didn't like my methods of operation, and I sure did get trigger happy right back. Was I overzealous? Eh, probably.
Well played, rep to you.

Mr. Sinister is SUPER-EASY to cherry-pick based on weight. I cherry-picked him, out of the brick that I bought, for my IG Month 7 today. THEN, I decided NOT to play him. Quite frankly, at 225/300 points, I might as well hang a big old Bullseye around his neck! Instead, I went with Ares and Wolverine. I lost two games and won one.
I cherry-picked him to see if it could be done (it totally can) and to have the option of playing either him or a Chase during the game.
During AVM, I cherry-picked (again, by weight only) a Hulk from Target for myself and a Hulk from Target for my friend. I did not charge him for it, instead it was my treat to him. He is my convention-buddy and is a selfless man...so I guess his kind nature is rubbing off on me.
Am I a bad guy for doing this? I certainly do not think so...but some will. *shrugs*

I don't see a problem with Mopedkid's "method", as he is sharing with buddies.
What I do not understand is how you can possibly see cherry picking as an "alright" thing to do, that isn't immoral.
I have tried cherry picking for particular figures(devil Dino & moonboy, M.O.D.O.K.). And if a box is bulging or one end is super heavy in one end or has a corner that got smashed(not ripped open) I will purchase it and hope for the novelty.
Trying for a super heavy figure once in a blue moon is one thing. Going through every brick in a store and cherry picking chases and super rares for profit is a completely different animal.
I feel the same way towards MtG. It is BS to go through boxes to pull all the "boosters" with Mythic Rares. Thankfully the venue near me shuffles all the boxes.

I hate it when superman gets tied up with Plastic Man
Don't hate the player, hate the game. Or the figures. Or the dice. Or the map...
The weight distribution in this set sucks. Which rules for me because i have limited funding.
Opened 3 boosters. Chaos King, Sinister, Crystal.
I found a 4th good booster i didnt have enough money for. Told the infamous VGA to buy it, Scarlet Witch/Wonderman.
I got magic hands.
Current Top 5 wants: MM220 Dark Phoenix, ASM041B Hobgoblin, CA055 Kitty Pryde, HA049 Ultron, CT028 Doombot X9[/u]

Way to go! I'm glad you could get figures you want!
