When you need the Justice League's help and you can't get the one in America or Europe or even get Extreme? You call in the Justice League Task Force: A rotating group of superheroes, some of which we can build for a variety of Heroclix teams!
In 1993, the Justice League books were entering a dark age. The much beloved Giffen/DeMatteis JLI run had come to an end, Lineups were less "cohesive", storylines weren't as well-recieved and the Justice League franchise was stretching beyond its means. In this time, Justice League Task Force came along. Originally the book featured a revolving creative team in addition to the several heroes coming and going, but after Zero Hour and the atrocious Judgment Day crossover, the title settled into a permanent roster.
The might of Martian Manhunter! The speed of Flash! The cleavage of Gypsy!
Now because a lot of the characters that appeared in JLTF haven't been clixed yet, There's not a massive amount of teams that can be made withour resorting to subbing in characters. Fact is, there's only three. But that's all right. The first team comes from the initial storyarc that launched the series, written by David Michelinie and art by Sal Velluto (who stuck with the series for most of its run). Martian Manhunter was given the job by the UN of trying to prevent an international incident.

The first lineup comes out to 545 points. Spending 55 points in feats might seem like a lot, but between Armor Piercing/Swingline on Flash, Camouflage on J'onn, Contingency Plan on Nightwing and Submerged on Aquaman, you can definitely put some extra oomph into the team. And you've still got ten points left over that you could put it on Gypsy or someone else.
If there was one handicapped space you didn't ever want to park in, it was Bruce's.
We should get used to seeing Gypsy on these teams, since she was around for the whole run on the book. Like in issues #5 and #6, Gypsy was recruited by Bruce Wayne for a mission that was a part of the KnightQuest arc in the Bat-books.

This build comes out to 268 points, with room for Trick Shot on Green Arrow, Lunge on Bronze Tiger and Running Start for Gypsy. Now I wanted to use the AE Bruce Wayne from Brave and the Bold, but that would have left us way under, so I just opted for a Bruce Wayne from the movie set. Of course using the LE from Legacy might not be too shabby either.
To think, if this cover had the women from Heroes for Hire on it, it'd be considered controversial.
Our last team for this article was from issues #7-8, a two-parter written by Peter David. A race of warrior women takes a government agent hostage, so the Task Force needs a woman's touch to solve it. Which requires Martian Manhunter to swap genders.

Anyways, after that story, the series went through a few more revolving lineups involving unclixed characters like Peter Cannon: Thunderbolt and some New Blood members before the title got shanghaied by several crossovers. After those, the team settled on the permanent roster written by Christopher Priest. Martian Manhunter and Gypsy were joined by The Ray, L-Ron (inhabiting Despero's body) and Triumph. Now while Triumph hasn't been clixed as of yet, you could probably build a decent team using J'onn, Gypsy, Ray and the old Cosmic Justice version of Despero.

Anyway, great article. I didn't know about this particular era in Justice League continuity, and it seems a shame that it probably doesn't exist anymore. I forgot how brutal that Green Arrow was, and at least the first two teams look downright mean; the only thing that keeps me from jumping all over that third team is that Maxima might drag it down a bit. Still, good job.
