how long after GSX was released did we get the reprints from toys r us? Personally i would LOVE alternate dials for non blind GG colossals, they would drive down the prices a little bit (and yes i realize that bar galactus their actually pretty cheap, i just play on a budget) i remember them mentioning that at least galactus may be reprinted non-blind, but is there any actual news on this? cuz like i said, i would LOVE these

I honestly don't recall hearing anything about GG collossals being reprinted, but someone feel free to correct me. Honestly I don't think they will. These pieces are simply much more expensive to make then the 2x2 GSX ones. In general the larger collosals don't sell well and are a larger risk vs profit, this is part of why they were only packed with bricks instead of being sold solo.

while you very well could be right, i still could swear it was mentioned before, but your logic is sound mr x. to dr morbius, looking now i see dormammu is about the second most expensive, higher than i thought in my original post, and he is one i would really like to have reprinted. him, ziran, and mastermold. i have ZERO interest in the mole monster, and uatu only if i found him REALLY cheap

I could very easily, and fully expect to see a wave of Dormammu, the Watcher, and Giant-Man come out in stores at some point in the next few months. I just can't imagine NECA not doing this. Although this isn't based on anything and is purely speculative.

The bigger figures, though? I doubt it. They're just too big to be released in such a way.

Seems unlikely :/ Dormmamu and Watcher could be sold like the GSX remakes, but the other are too bulky. They'd require either a bigger (and more costly to print) packaging (increasing the MSRP) or be packaged un-built like in the booster (I know this wouldn't bother most of us, but I find it hard to imagine something like that being sold at TRU).

Plus none of them (except Giganto?) are generics so they can't rely on army builders buying them up (I know only 3 of the GSX ones were generics, but at least that was more incentive)

Basically, seems unlikely in theory and expensive (for them, which results in a $40 MSRP for us) in practice in my opinion

If it means I could get a $15-$20 Dormammu, I'm all for it! Part of the reason I didn't get a secondary market one yet is in anticipation of the mass market wave of colossals I'm expecting (hoping for).

If I remember correctly, long ago it was said that Galactus would be available in a non-blind pack.

I would totally dig Mole Monster being repackaged as I would buy multiples!

I'd love to get a non blind Galactus. I had to sell my GG one to fund my move.
