Very interesting and props for your hard work. There are several dials that I found to be very conceptually accurate; however, the common set had one thing that bothered me: the dials are really laden with powers and the majority of figures hovered around 80 points. Not really a critism per say, but it just bothered me.
As far as Blade having a gun? Not necessarily. A 5 range could be indicative to throwing knives, stars, etc. which he did use.

Which is why the only thing I disagreed about was the name of the power referring to the use of guns.
The Monster keyword should only apply to the second dial. Though that's a great Jubilee. I would add an additional click to start the Vampire one with 7MV, 10AV, 18DV, 3Dam. She's a Vampire and has the added longevity that a 5 click dial doesn't really show. Or better yet, switch the two dials and have the Vampire one as a Vet starting line and the PW side as her Experienced pre-Vampire dial.
I meant for her begging of the game power to mean that if you pick the Monster keyword you did not get the mutant keyword and vice versa. I could have made that a little more clear now that I look at it. I thought about giving Vampire Jubilee an extra click but decided not to so that her points would stay the same as the x-men style one. In the end, to keep the same points I would have wanted to lower her combat values to give her an extra click and I liked her values how they turned out so I left it alone.

Was this meant for me? If it is, the reason most figures ended up around 80 points and are power laden is because if this was a real set and I made it, I would want someone who pulled a bunch of commons to have a chance at winning a sealed tournament the same as a guy who pulled a super rare. That's why at every rarity level I had 1 or 2 power house style figures. As far as the 80 points I was thinking again about 300-400 point sealed and that and average of around 80 points makes it so that if you want to go the team round in stead of the OMA yo have some options.
And, as much as I hate Chase figures, I would include one:

I Suck: Modify Combat Values of All Friendly Characters by -3 When Joe Quesada is on the map. Seriously, I Suck: Joe Quesada does penetrating damage to any Marvel Character to which he is adjacent. When using Poison, Joe Quesada affects only friendly characters. No, Really, Suck, Suck, Suck: Joe Quesada may use multi-attack, but only to target himself. When attacking himself, Joe Quesada hits automatically, regardless of dice roll.
(But I'm not bitter. No, not me.)
Best chase ever !!

Enough Batman, Hulk, Thor and co ! We want Monet now... And a Champions Angel !!!
As for the set, I totally agree with post 5 on all accounts, new HC dials don't drop so fast.
And the EMT is way too expensive for his AV, we now have Donald Blake...
But Donald Blake can't charge to use support. So I guess it is really how much value you would put on that special power that is going to have people disagreeing over the point value.
Lots of great points made here, especially on wordage and terminology. I'm taking notes on those, guys. I'm getting ready to work on the uncommons so hopefully as you compare them you can see a trend in the points. On that EMT.... I guess he's striking up some good debate.

Hmm, no I'd have to disagree there, EMT's are not police. They are not trained like police, don't work in the same office as police, and don't do police work. These are the guys who jump out of the ambulance when you're having a heart attack or cut yourself with your chainsaw and need to stop gushing blood all over. Not police.
I agree on the rewording, that's a good point.
If you're going to be that pedantic, then giving them "Scientist" is totally BS. They don't do research, they don't perform experiments, they don't get published in scientific journals, etc etc...
I agree that they are not police, but they DO work with police so the idea of them being part of a theme is MUCH more appropriate with Police than with Scientist.
Let's say there's a crime in progress and Gordon shows up with some of Gotham's finest (i.e. the player is going with a "police" theme team) it would totally make sense for there to be EMTs on the scene as well and it would be nice for the player if he didn't have to break theme in order to do that.

"Pedantic"??? WOW. Look, it could have both keywords for all I care, okay? The team ability would be overkill on the figure IMO and certainly wouldn't match unless you're talking about a soldier medic and that's not what I was aiming at here.
Yes, EMT's are often on the scene but they are NOT the ones going in with the rifles and guns and handcuffs, are they? No. Will they risk their lives rushing in to help someone who's been shot while bullets are still flying? YES. But they don't arrest and are not from the same department or of the same training. The go to help firefighters too, but you don't see them running in with the firefighters into a burning building unless they were also trained as firefighters.
And I apologize for trying to do something with accuracy and disagreeing with you.
You probably didn't want to get me started on this next part but oh well. There is far more to being a scientist than doing experiments. I could really splatter the page on applied science, medical science, and on and on, but you really don't want me to do that.
Also, I'm ex law enforcement and have worked with quite a few brilliant people. One of them was published in a journal, so YES THEY DO. As for research, how many medical classes have you taken? It varies from state to state based on state requirements, but they have to take classes, read books, do research projects; and all to prove that they are capable and competent in saving your life.
Again, nevertheless I endeavor exhaustive recompense, in my contention of your opinion. Allow me to immediately rectify the issue hence.

maybe i lost some rule but a char that doesn't take damage from HER OWN Energy Explosion? just tell me how a ranged combat attack might target herself
Well, they have sharpshooter so can use range in the face, yes? The wording of EE doesn't differentiate from opposing to friendly. So now they can use EE at adjacent with sharpshooter and not have to take damage from it.

So is no one gonna notice the really odd note on Silver Samurai's power that works against "anyone who's card mentions adamantium"? I'm all for wacky weird powers, but that just seems really bizarre to me...
Oh, I noticed, but I didn't think it worthy of comment because the intent is pretty clear. Silver Samurai will have problems with Wolverine and the few other characters with Adamantium, like Lady Deathstrike and Ultron. Wildeman has acknowledged that some of his language could be tightened up. In this case I think it's intentionally loose to improve interaction with as yet unmade figures.
I was given rep for my screen name alone! Now I feel all warm inside

That is correct! That was a tough one to try and word because, as you pointed out, Wolverine is not the only adamantium protected character out there. And hey, not bad for never doing this before eh? That's right, I've never built a set before although I am an unpublished/self published game designer.

The Warwolves should definitely have shape change and maybe some kind of synergistic bonus when working together. Remember how they would kill people and wear their skins? Maybe even stealth or some way to be placed elsewhere on the map.
Also, I don't think their bonus attack value should be capped at 150 points. If the opposing team has a single 300 pt character, what's the point? Maybe a +1 bonus if the target character is above 150 because their attack values are low, as they are.
