The Warwolves should definitely have shape change and maybe some kind of synergistic bonus when working together. Remember how they would kill people and wear their skins? Maybe even stealth or some way to be placed elsewhere on the map.
Also, I don't think their bonus attack value should be capped at 150 points. If the opposing team has a single 300 pt character, what's the point? Maybe a +1 bonus if the target character is above 150 because their attack values are low, as they are.
You know something told me "shapechange" but I couldn't remember why, thanks for clearing up my fogginess for me! I do remember that! And you may have a point with the one man army. Interesting thought.

Or what about this:
Remember how they were always after Phoenix? They are designed to capture the big targets, powerhouses of the multiverse. With that in mind, why not reverse the trait? Say, electing characters under 100 pts for the bonus grants +1 but against those 100-299 they get a +2 bonus to attack value... and against characters 300 or more they get a +3! It would be kind of like the way Elsa Bloodstone works and I think it would be pretty comic-accurate. They don't have range and their stats aren't really high so it would be somewhat balancing in games where an opponent brings a massive colossal or chase fig to the table.
I really liked the warwolves. I thought Alan Davis' depiction of them was both comical and terrifying.
