Never mind the mailbox. What's Ted Kord doing on the Helicarrier?

I like this version of Ted, but I'm kind of hoping we'll get another one in either Batman or Streets of Gotham, that's a little less... vanilla. He needs Perplex or Outwit. And I would have preferred to see that EE replaced with Incap.

These are nice figures.

Too bad Ted doesn't have the JLA team ability like he should. It works really well with 50 point characters. Sigh...

And the Scarab thing. Even if it's not "mystical," it can still feel mystical, and have the properties of retaliation like other mystical characters have.

Nothing wrong with more Mystics available!

But Ted did need JLA team ability.

Batman & Robin will never die!

The reason for that, and Mera's keyword, is that they were supposed to be in the New 52 JLA. They were on the wraparound first cover, and Johns even outined Hawkman's entrance into the League at a con. Don't lay that one at NECA.

Thumbs up
I love the updated Hypertime Blue Beetle, and the promotion is great value and will be a nuisance piece for opposing players. Superb!

Man I hope this means we're finally getting a Booster Gold. Best JLA Cartoon episode with him and Elongated Man. Devastating ...

A New 52 version is already confirmed for one of the upcoming Batmen sets.

DC announced last August 2011 that Green Arrow, Mera, Element Woman and Hawkman will become part of the Justice League later on. It is a smart move for Wizkids to give them the keyword now so that people wouldn't need to ask them to release a New 52 Justice League-keyworded Hawkman and Green Arrow later on. It saves slots in upcoming sets for more characters.

Love the Jamie.
Heck, love them both... but I think I'll usually play the Crisis Blue Beetle over this Ted.

Not the Ted I wanted, but the Ted I deserve .

Excited to see my favorite character alive and well in the clix world again. But sad that he doesn't bring a lot to the table. As many have stated, where is the Outwit, Perplex, Super Buddies KW, and more importantly a power that gives him something for being near Booster Gold. Just because of who this is I'm pumped, however I'm sad this is what they gave me .

As for Jamie, ehhhhhhh. He's not cool enough to fill Teds boots.
Go Home and Be a Family Man!!

Yes, but I personally can't stand the New 52 so far. So to me I prefer a "Golden" Age

As much as I think this is a terrible character to have in such an exclusive 10th anniversary set I have to give props for both dials. Not too shabby for grunts.

Both figures look very playable to me. I especially like the newer BB with the great damage potential and Mystics TA. I'll have to get more than one of those!

The 94 point version of this is unbelievable. I saw the points and did a double take. Running shot psychic blast with 3 damage is awesome on a 94 point character at all, especially with flight. Throw in probs when hes involved, amazing. Throw in he drops into running shot pulse wave, has mystics, end dial phasing/willpower/regen+prob, and you have an amazing figure. Then there's the trait, the icing on the cake, built in protected for attacks that deal 3 or more. If there was ever a mid-range gauntlet candidate its blue beetle. Absolutely unreal.
