World Championship Top 16
The Gauntlet Challenge!
The final day of the HeroClix World Championships are underway, with 7 players from the 2011 World Championships making a showing! The trend is definately Gauntlet, with 100% of the Top 16 utilizing the resource in various ways, 12 of them going Full Gauntlet on a variety of figures.

We did have a little drama to start things off as Mike Tran (ChopChop777) was late to the event check-in, putting David Chu (1st Alternate) into the finals. Sadly, David Chu was with Mike Tran ... making them both late to the event. Ryan Gorden (thanosstar; 2nd Alternate) is in the finals!

I was off on the Gauntlet # .
I suspected 14 of 16...and it was all 16.

Neat choices of making/remaking : Stargirl, Dex-Starr, Iceman, Bombastic Bag-Man, Spider-Man , Steve Trevor !

Teams :
Central City and Reporter Keywords...nice.
Lots of Scarlet Witches ! Black Adam and Leland ! Hawkeye.
Lots of Superman 150 and an Eradicator.

Hoping for Ryan Gordon (Man-Thing) or Stephen Plasco (Sleepwalker), although it would be interesting to see George make ANOTHER Black Adam! LOL! Good luck to everyone!

There are so many characters that have been made the list of unmades is shrinking.

Sure, there are some uber-obscure characters but I can't fault anyone for not wanting to make a character that they aren't passionate about.

Props to George for using his Black Adam in the game. That is really cool.

I'll be rooting for Alex (Stargirl!), Daniel (Dex-Starr), John (Iceman), and maybe Kennie (Spider-Man) based on who they wrote down, alone.

Is Ken Earnest really only playing Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch???
