What stinks is - Wizkids is going to confuse this diminished response to mean that we are not interested in the set when really we are not interested in the piece.
I think this is an amazing support piece but those low combat dials limit his involvement in cross-over games. Even 300 pt games these days carry figs with 18Def and 11 attack 16 D, and 9 A will not get you very far.

Pair him With SM Darkside anyone?????

Unimpressed by his numbers, but his power combinations make him an excellent turret enhancer. He's got leadership, super enhancement and perplex that he can use on adjacent ranged pieces every turn. On top of that, he's got super outwit to make sure that the ranged attack sticks or protects the pieces next to him that he's enhancing. I think he's absolutely worth 80 points, and the bigger the game gets the more effective he becomes.

He has value as a support piece. Also, he will be more useful in Assassin's Creed games.

the "low" numbers are nothing to complain about with this power combination. Stealth, indomitable, mastermind, outwit (with a chance to do extra damage on top of it), leadership, enhancement (with a chance to make a friendly attack deal penetrating damage), and a free perplex to adjacent figs all on his FIRST CLICK! there are very few figures that sport that many options at once. this guy is fantastic.

yes he has a 9/16 up front, so what? he's a leader/support piece, and a very powerful one at that.

I have to say this guy is very good,

Amazing offensive support with the team ability and the trait.

Grab a couple of wildcards with this team ability and you can easily have a plus 3 attack. And if you roll a 6 for the trait it's penetrating.

Ohh and he has outwit also that may do dmg, really.

I am dying to use LOTR in tournaments.

I can't comment too much on the gameplay (like I did with Ezio), but holy crap this guy is awesome. I think I like him more than Ezio...

He makes me hope that the set comes with generic assassins and templars.

Well. . .I can see myself using him alot. The sting of the loss of Lillah isn't AS bad now.

talk about mega support, if only they made clix with same quality in sets I do like.

Not bad for an 80 point support pieces. He would be better if he had some B/C/F to start out with with.

Anywho, I'm loving the TA for this set. Hopefully they'll make it modern.
