Indy clix strike a nerve? I would say bout half and half
A lot of them were wolverine knock offs, blades & toughness I just feel they could have done more with him
WildC.A.T.S was all knockoffs but it doesn't bother me. Image Comics almost sank the industry but this was a title I regularly collected. That and Spawn of course, which we'll never get because McFarlane is ... well, McFarlane ...
AWESOME, figured we would get Warblade, considering in this set its confirmed we are getting Grifter, Maul, Voodoo & Tealot. Hopefully Spartan as well, my bro thinks based off the sculpts he has seen they are remaking the cover of WildC.A.T.S. #1, that said I hope this is just the beginning of the Image characters, including WildC.A.T.S. enemy Hellspont & the Daemonites, as well as Wetworks & their enemies (Blood Queen, Vampires, Warewolfs & Frankenstien) as well as Backlash & Wildstorm.

Warblade sucks, toughness and defense starts with 17, the trick that the barrier is a mirror in color, has many conditions against
A-not you have to have Token (Being Idomitable rests 1 in 3 shifts)
B-NO RANGE! And I only do 2! if you do 4 and I have the chance to catch a character for a while, Maaaaybe ... but no.
The stats are bad, with damage Claws 3 is redundant and adds pressure plays that should be simple.
The good .... is a character who never done before, is a WILDCAT and many guys get his beard wet.
One less character I have to get in this set (this upcoming set is going to save me a fortune at this rate)
Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum <- my view on gun control
oderint, dum metuant <- my view on foreign policy
Alea jacta est <- my view on taking back declared actions
How is he Indy? Because he has a couple clix of blades? I don't see any stealth or super senses, which were really the hallmarks of the Indy sets.
I call your complaints silly things.
To be fair, he does have Toughness (in his SP)
Indy Stats (for the record, 139 total characters)
Power - Number of characters with that power
Toughness - 62
Super Senses - 35
Blades/Claws/Fangs - 65
Stealth - 61
BCF+Tough - 26
BCF+SS - 16
BCF+Stealth - 27
BCF+SS+Stealth - 7
BCF+SS+Tough - 9
Charge? 10
Flurry? 12
Regeneration? 11
Close Combat Expert? 12
Exploit Weakness? Didn't exist yet, so 0
So an Indy character, by a reasonable definition, is a character that has Blades/Claws/Fangs, Stealth and Toughness more than any other combo
And two funny points:
Not one single character, in a set laden with Stealth, has Smoke Cloud!
Not one character, in a set rife with fast, evasive characters, has a base defence of higher than 16
