i like the last build, i have always been a fan of that robin, i have said that that robin is 1 of the better combat outwiters. n i have the impulse n the rest of the figures. it looks like a really good build.
Agreed - I think they should have not had any legacy characters left, and definitely not reused the names of established characters for entirely new and different characters - but a topic for another day I suppose.
I actually picked Impulse up off of ebay the day the OP kits released just so I could run teams like those above. I wish the sculpt was a little better, I keep thinking about trying to repaint one of the old Legacy ones.
Then you need to read Earth 2 because virtually the entire Justice League are dead.

I actually loved what they were doing with Earth-2. In the first two issues I said repeatedly that that type of hard reboot is what they needed on the main Earth. I had many people reading it for just that reason, some who had never read comics before.
Then Issue 3 happened. It was one of the stupidest things I've ever read.

The idiotic explanation by the Green had for why it saved Alan and not his boyfriend was unreal:
"I couldn't save him ... because I was only supposed to save you. Even though I know he was super important to you, and we'll use your ring that represents the love you shared to harness your power...I kinda had to let him die because ... well ... I just had to okay. Look, it serves the story okay ... just go with it."
How Alan Scott didn't go:
"Wait ... what? You were aware of how important he was to me and you STILL let him die? Bite me ****!"
Is beyond me.
I had a number of gay friends who were very angry about the way DC manipulated that situation. To them it seemed like DC made Alan gay just to get the publicity, and then killed off the key thing that identified him as being gay - his relationship. It was like they were sweeping it under the rug as soon as the media frenzy died down.
I'm sure that's not how everyone feels, but that was my experience with it.
