I'm intrigued by the TabApp stuff, but A.) I'm a Droid guy, so I don't use an iPad. and B.) I really don't like the sculpts. I wish they were like normal HC sculpts.

I'm more appalled by this than the guy you quoted, who I whole-heartedly agree with. You know what world I don't want to live in? The one where people actually still act like the only audience figures and games are offered to are children. I mean, there's a reason we get about a thread a week on here complaining about the ADD antics of some r-tard kid who's trying to play clix and is too young to understand it.

Long story short, it's 2012, schlub. This game was never marketed to kids, so it's mildly obnoxious to some of us that these new tab app things look the way they do. But be happy being so much kewler than this world, 14 year old girl.

And I want to make the point that it really, really does cheese me off thatwhat is likely the most accurate movie Bane we're getting will be in this style. Ya'll can have your stupid, chibi figures that don't fit the aesthetic of the overall game, guys. But I can't imagine how much it sucks for people who loved the new Spiderman that their only option for these characters is this tab app bull####.

I wanted another Tom Hardy Bane so bad, particularly a new sculpt, and this is what we got. This is just plain stupid. You can all tell me I'm being a baby all you want, but when there are only so many opportunities for characters, Wizkids should not be effing it up. This IS why we play this game, RIGHT?

You play with toys. Kids like toys too. Let them have them if you dont like them. These do not bring down your quality of life.

I like 'em. Works for me. Played Cyclops and Iceman in a few games tonight with my X-Factor build. They're fun!

The TRU in my town has an excess of the TabApp clix, both Avengers and X-men. They go for 15 bucks. If you guys can't get any, PM me and I will get some for you.

So is the tabapp game fun to play? I am contemplating getting these.

I don't have an iPad but from what I gather the TabApp games themselves have nothing to do with HeroClix. It's like they decided to just slap HeroClix dials on these figures to boost sales to an older demographic that otherwise wouldn't touch these things. They're totally incompatible in both scale and style, but we're still supposed to accept them as "legal" to play just because they have dials on them.

So is it easy to pry the bottoms off these things so that the bases are normal-sized?

Get these for the figures NOT FOR THE APP trust me on this.. it's... yeah we just won't go there..

maybe with the new figures they might change it up... but alas I doubt it.

Hm. I bought the X-Men pack because I liked the Logan Dial that much. We'll see how I feel about these.

This is where we'll get that definitive Spider-Man guys.

When the Avengers and X-Men sets came out I decided to pass on these, but if they continue to make them, I might have to pick up a few singles and make one team. Don't get the rage though, they are goofy looking and should be fun.
