Joe Quesada; who's been busy ruining Marvel Comics for me, screwed the pooch for any of those to happen again.
One of my favorite crossovers was when Spiderman and Superman teamed up against Dr. Doom and the Parasite. It had the Hulk and Wonder Woman in smaller roles.
I've got that story as a huge oversized treasury edition. Really cool.
Dr. Polaris encountering Lex Luthor in the men's room while Flash is in Luthor's body.
Dr. P: "Aren't you going to wash your hands?"
Lex: "No. Cause I'm evil!"
The Judge at my local venue actually played the Hellboy,Batman,Starman team almost exactly (different batman since this was before JL52 released) actually a surprisingly effective team, he also had Ted Knight pog on it as well. Fun team to play against.
It doesn't matter who I am, what matters are my Skrulls.

Yup.
I've played several variations of that team. It's a great comic and those are three of my favorite comic characters so it's something I'll fall back on fairly often.
I do usually use the Origins Unique Starman for Jack Knight. Those old flight bases sure made sculpt swapping a lot easier.
I want to play that Starman/Hellboy/Bats team! I just need me a Hellboy (and a Batman [and a Jack Knight with a better dial]) lol
but man was that an awesome book
I think my last version was:
Hellboy from the BPRD set
Origin Starman (with the Cosmic Justice sculpt)
Common Batman from the nu52 Justice League set
Ted Knight pog
I was just playing bye rounds, but I think it won 2 out of 3 games.

I play two versions.
The one in the OP with Legacy Vet Batman instead of the new one for 300 points.
And this one, waaay before the BPRD set was released for 200 points:

My favorite cross-over of all time is the "Judgement on Gotham" story featuring Judge Dredd and Batman.
I field that team often at different point values and do surprisingly well, because it's a fun team to play.
It usually features a:
Judge Dredd mod that I made on a vet Ghost rider base
Judge Anderson
Gotham city cop (now that we have the awesome GCPD fig from DKR, I try to work that in.)
Brit city cop(or a regular Judge Dredd Modded onto a support base Like hydra technician.)
Oots Batman or similar low points Batman.
The last team I beat with it was an Eradicator, Superboy, Phone Booth Superman team.

I love me some Dredd too, but I can never seem to use his clix well enough. Every time I use hum he ends up getting KO'd before he even attacks. It's sad really, because that is not how Dredd should play. I guess the fanboy is strong in you and weak in me, because I can never bring myself to play him anymore. Nowadays my Red Ring Dredd just hangs out on my desk next to Thor's Mighty Chariot and Cloak and Dagger looking like a boss.
That Judgment on Gotham story is indeed awesome though. I actually didn't come across it until a few years ago when I worked at a bookstore. I was ordering Dredd TPBs to load up our graphic novel section with and to my wonder I found a collection of sevral Dredd/Bats stories! Judgment was my favorite, but I also really liked Die Laughing.
Favorite Comics:
Simonson's Thor, Robinson's Starman, Mignola's Hellboy, Lemire's Animal Man
Brubaker's Captain America, Gillen's Thor/Journey into Mystery, Remender's Venom Check Out My Custom Heroclix Mods

I'm in total agreement. That's why my mod is on the vet Ghost Rider base.
As far as the regular Dredd figs go, I find the 83 point Promo version is the most playable version.

The fanboy is indeed strong in me. That's why it over-rules my common sense and causes me to consistently bad heroclix pieces!
The fanboy in you isn't necessarily weak in you, it's just that the smart heroclix player is stronger in you!

Die laughing was indeed a fun read. Vendetta in Gotham and the Ultimate riddle weren't too bad, either.
I've actually won a couple of games using the JL Lobo and Exp. Judge Dredd from their crossover. Fun 300 point team that has to be played carefully, but can be rewarding if you're both skillful and lucky.

Whenever you play stuff you love, you tend to play the teams better.
Your Psycho bikers vs. the Mutants from Hell sounds like a blast. I'm going to have to give it a whirl.
