So I have been waiting since the dawn of the game for Harley with a mallet. I mentioned that I wished she had a mallet instead of a bomb long long ago when the Hypertime version was the only one that existed.

So now, we get our Harley with a mallet. Lack of special powers/traits or whatever aside, below average stats in every category aside, questinoable worth for point cost aside, there is one thing that just blatantly screams at me.

It's Harley with a mallet.

She starts with ranged combat expert.

What? She also starts with 6 speed, which, considering that I want to use her to... hit people on the head with her awesome mallet, doesn't work. I really wish that click #1 and #2 were swapped so I could quake people away and then maybe ranged combat expert them. As is, what does that pathetic 6 movement charge click even do execpt make her more expensive? SHe already has longer range and does more damage at range. Why would I bother to get in close if I could just shoot somebody for 4. I suppose it could be to attack Batman ally characters... but wait, they all have ranges of 4 or more so they'll just shoot Harley before she can ever charge anyway.

Not to mention, she's just bad. Her stats are bad. She has no support powers. Her only usefulness is to carry people 4 squares. I mean, seriously, compare her to any recent Batman related character of similar point cost.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE PIECES has the following.

1. Support powers like outwit, perplex, or enhancement, despite being 50ish points.
2. Higher stats than Harley in every category other than range.

Needless to say, this Harley is very disappointing and no gimmick blades/flurry click at the end because she has pet hyenas is going to save her.

This figure is pretty good. I love that last click a lot!. the TA is very helpful along with the trait. RCE is pretty nast doing 4 damage at that low of a point level, though I find it off that its front loaded since her sculpt has a giant hammer.

That Improved Movement must be increasing her cost.

At 25-35 points this fig would become a staple piece. at 50... bleh

I don't read dc much.... But what can ya expect?.... it's only Harley. At best she is just a thug.... A crazy thug, but a thug all the same. No special training, no powers, and no mystic abilities. For a joker Lt. this is a good dial.

It's almost too bad those hyenas aren't on the sculpt with her. That would probably push her into SR territory though.

I mean, everyone trying to justify this dial is basically using the Underworld TA as their reason: Is Harley Quinn known for carrying people around with her?

I expected some sort of special power related to the Joker, considering she's his sidekick, his girlfriend, AND his doctor.

Also, from her Wikipedia entry (I wasn't actually aware of this bit until just now): "She later becomes fast friends with Poison Ivy, who injects her with antitoxin which gives her super strength, agility, and toxin immunity."

They are saving it for the TabApp Harley!

Not sure why people are complaining so much, since she doesn't actually have any kind of real combat training. She's basically a crazy henchman with a flashier costume. What did you really expect?

Yeah. No idea why she should have that ability.

Her to be better than 40 point henchmen when she costs 50 points.

Have you seen her fight? You can argue some of the others but it fits her perfectly.

On the flipside, I would've liked to have seen a click or two of Perplex on her.
