Just wanted to say that I would love to have this in, or close to Nebraska.
The Omahaclix gang has been so inviting to me since I started playing (Darkest Night start set), and I know they work really hard to foster the great clix community that Omaha has now, and something like this would go over great in Nebraska!
Hey, as a Southern Oregon Clixer, I'm offended (not really) by answer #7. There ARE people between California and Washington, y'know.
Seriously, with all the clixers in Oregon and Washington, plus even some of the NorCal folks, wouldn't something a little north of SoCal make sense for next year? Maybe tied to WW Portland or ECCC, if it has to be?

If you need a venue in Chicago, I'm the head judge at the Dice Dojo in the city, and Ignatzmouse also judges here. We've got plenty of space and would love to host. Maybe you'd like to add something even this year...
I would go to the tourny if it was at the Dice Dojo or even somewhere within 3 hours of Chicago, maybe 4.
As of right now, there is no way I am able to go this. 6 hour drive (for me anyways) there and then 6 hours back plus hotel fees is just something that is not possible for me, especially around con season. I know starting in April we have
April 6th - Mega Event in Manchester Iowa
April 26-28th - C2E2
May 17th-19th - Acen (I know not a gaming convention but it is a rather large con)
June 12th-16th - Origins
August 8th-11th - Wizard World Chicago
August 15th-18th - Gencon
As it stands right now, all of my vacation/convention funds are tied up in these conventions and I am not even sure I am able to go to Gencon yet. Adding another multi-day trip to the schedule is near impossible. Please next year have it somewhere more towards the midwest to the point where a hotel room and $100+ in gas.
