This is definitely the case. I much prefer this to rarifying figures solely to amp their power levels. I don't mind not having the latest nicest sculpts out there, but I do mind not wanting to cough up for the latest "it" fig of one kind or another. Given the relative worthlessness (maybe somewhat extreme, at least "relative devaluation") of recent SRs, this argument applies much more strongly for Chase figures, but can also extend to SRs as well.

As for Voodoo, I like her. Given the vicious damage output of the rest of the WildC.A.T.S, I don't think that getting her MC trick off will be nearly as tricky as people seem to think it will be, as she will almost never be a number one or even number two threat. Played within her team, she should do well. Played outside her team, and built around, she should thrive. The Mental Shields + Compel trick is going to make her a deadly creature in higher point Golden Age games, and I look forward to pulling that off a time or two.

Wow. if played correctly she could b a huge pain in the butt. get her to mind control the opponents tentpole and send him back to wreck house. put auto regen on her and just keep her behind the front line to keep mind controlling your opponen to death. lets hope she plays as good as i imagine she does!

Mind Lock plus The Sight make Voodoo very, very nasty. I know someone who would run a whole team of these if we let him.

Oh. My. God. At this point cost, she will definitely be in every wildc.a.t.s. Team i build...I'm not only stoked that we finally got the wild cats but that they are ALL good at what they do! (here's to hoping we can also get a savage dragon clix'd ;-) )
