I went 2-1 with them yesterday. Lost to a galactus metron team but not before taking down galactus. Pestilence is te best imo. But im partial to poison. Also played with archangel and caliban. Caliban hits pretty hard after hes taken some damage. So far i like all the horsemen. Only one I havent used yet is hulk.

they are great pieces, but $300 on 3 figures is a lot indeed. i think you can get them cheaper than that though, i think i've seen them go between $150-200. that's still quite a lot though!

i guess you have to ask yourself are you a collector as much as a player? if you are a collector then they are a great addition indeed. if you are just a player, then the price it'll cost you to acquire them isn't worth it. they aren't real dominant pieces that will win you games every time. in fact, they take a bit of skill/strategy to play perfectly.

they are beautiful looking pieces though.

i was very lucky to find a good deal on them, but i can say i'm pretty happy to own them.

What if you're just as much of a player as a collector?

I would never pay even $150-$200 for them. Patience is a virtue. If one is patient enough and keeps an ear low to the ground, one can get a lot of "IMPOSSIBLE" figures for cheap. I got both Crisis chase Supermen for a combined $60.

If you're looking for any of them, I would suggest waiting until June after Origins when more will be released and some will put them up for sale/ trade.
I've completed collecting the IC, CT, XP, CM, Ult, MM, FF, AW, Sin, SN, AVE, M&M, SI, HoT, WoS, GSX, CA, IH, GG, AVM, CW, M10th, ASM & IM3 sets.

Looking to get PR Professor X (W/X-Men) and pre-release IC Wolverine.
