Hi everyone, me again. I'm still getting back into the game and I'm looking to build off of my favorite heroes. I'm looking to do a low point Invaders team based around the duo of the dual base Captain America and the GG Defenders Namor. Here's my first draft.

I'm including Toro because I own the figure from the first time I played Heroclix and the barrier seems useful. Bucky blows up weak enemies while Cap and Namor do the heavy fighting. What other invaders would be good if Toro and Bucky don't work out?

Invaders is not strong in Heroclix. But if you insist on playing it, consider swapping Bucky and Toro with SI Human Torch or U.S. Agent.

Hm, The Human torch seems pretty good. You think it's better to have him than the two other pieces? I really think barrier could be useful, but I'm still learning the strategy of the game.

Barrier is good. But Toro doesn't have it until late-dial. He's not a good piece.

If I were going to play a 300 point Invaders team, based around what you've posted, I'd play this team:

I wouldn't bother with Frog Legs on Cap, as Namor's Trait allows everyone to have the Swim Ability as long as they start their movement near him... you just have to manage that through positioning.

Union Jack's Running Shot makes him one of my favorite Invaders. Bucky and Union Jack are ripe for Not So Special, and with the number of modern figures that have special powers and traits, there is a good chance they'll both end up with the +1 AV throughout the game. Remember that you need a figure to take an action token for using Theme Team Prob Control, so I'd have that be Bucky, especially with his up-front Willpower.
