For 110 points, you get a Six Click figure. Captain America has 6, and costs far less (not apples to apples, I know, but still). Ms. Marvel & Wonder Man weigh in with a similar cost and have 8 clicks.

There's ways to mitigate short dials - Indomitable would let him act more often, and a higher defense would help stave off attacks. Either would have swayed me in one direction.

And if Iron Man had two more clicks of life I wouldn't feel so exposed with him, but he's a single Outwit away from being KO'd (or crippled) in one shot. Heck, if he had the Invincible SP, that FCBD Iron Man from years back had (reducing damage to 1) he'd be pretty amazing. But to me, he feels top heavy. YMMV.
All valid points - especially in 300. I think a plus is his cost allows for other figures to join the team (of which there are a lot) which act as tie-up pieces to help preserve him.

Plus he activates Iron Man drones!

(Damage) A Touch of Insanity: Genis-Vell can use Perplex. When he does, instead of the normal effects, choose +2 or -2, and roll a d6 that can't be rerolled. Based on the result, modify the following value on the target character by the chosen amount:
1 = Speed4 = Damage
2 = Attack5 = Range
3 = Defense6 = All combat values

At a venue with < 10 players or with the right pairings, he's going to do well.

This turned out to be correct. As usual, I did not pull any SRs or Chases, while amongst 7 players a Herc/Thor, Hawk/Mock, Void, Mr. Sinister, Unspoken, Lock/Hair were pulled.

What I did get was Genis-Vell and Hawkeye. His first two clicks are amazing, his next two after that are also great and allow him to get back up to #2, his Phasing/Regen click again helps him regain some ground. Really tough to put down in 300 points. That Perplex power is fun too. When it works, it's great. When it doesn't, his regular powers are enough to not hinge on it.

First game G-V took a scary hit and between Regen and Steal Energy came back to win. Second game was hit past those clicks (onto the Phasing & Outwit click), and by that time it was a one-on-one match so I could have cat-and-moused till the end but ended up taking out Wonder Man. Third game just destroyed Mr. Sinister with Pulse Wave.

Hawkeye by the way did not do much. Hit some bricks for 1 damage, but in 2 games he was immediately based and one-shotted.

Well, the problem is that the wording is up for both interpretations.
It only says "since your last turn", but not WHEN during that turn...if it said "since the beggining of your last turn" then push-heal would be clearly allowed, if it said "since the end of your last turn" then push-heal would be clearly denied.

This obviously need ruling, though.

I lean towards thinking that "since your last turn" includes all of your turn and push-heal is allowed, and I will be playing it like that until he gets clarified.
Even if this is correct, the healing power is still inferior to the GSX Wolverine, but if not, it is dramatically inferior and really underwhelming for what Wolverine should be able to heal (GSX version was spot on for me in this regard).
This one for 90 points is very nice either way.

I'll clarify it for you here and now then: "Since your last turn" means "since your last turn ended", not "since the beginning of your last turn".

In the specific example he used, her Outwit would only last for the duration of Masque's own attack, after which it goes away but she gains Perplex. Dead on the money.

Good write-up, and now I've gotta get Nitro to blow up just so I can yell "DY-NO-MITE"

Also: agreed that Wolvie can't heal if he takes damage during his own turn. Since his last turn is all opposing turns that came afterwards.
Thanks for the clarification guys, that is a pretty nasty setup. I would have never even thought to use both of them in a single turn..... very cool.

When using Nitro's explode and reform SP, if you roll a crit hit would you then deal 4 damage to each figure hit or would it be 4 damage to one and 3 to all the others? His damage value does not say it's locked, just want to know incase it happens.
