Superman: Earth One vol. 2
Did anyone else pick this up? I never read vol. 1, but I really enjoyed this one. It "felt" like Superman. (Unlike the New 52 guy that claims to be Superman.)

I also read Batman: Earth One, but I didn't care for it. Bruce was too whiney, and I disliked Alfred. (Harvey Bullock's fall from grace was pretty sad, though.)

What's your take on the Earth One stuff?

What is the deal with the Earth One stuff? Just non-continuity stories?

Earth One's basically updating the mythos, though they are non-canon, much like the Ultimates universe for Marvel. They've just released these in graphic novel form so far.

I skimmed the Superman vol. 1, which hit the basic notes, and own the Batman vol. 1, which was decent.

Haven't read this volume of Superman yet, but I enjoy the nu52 version Grant Morrison is presenting over the one JMS did in volume one of Earth One.
Favorite DC read: Demon Knights
Only Marvel read: Avengers Arena
POWER GIRL OR BUST!!!
<-- This summarizes my thoughts on the release schedule.
