Yeah, I actually thought about the Vet Blackhawk but she's really more comparable to a lot of current 50-60 point figures.

I hadn't thought about him, but that would represent pretty well. I think some of the point cost on Ben is the WC TA.

I didn't know there was a "new" lady B. I was already OK with getting a custom 5 months before the "official" figure is made, but if it's not Zinda anyway then all the more reason to get a custom.

If you are getting one in a set and you actually like the dial.

Don't cancel your custom, just change it to someone else... Your artist still gets a sale and you still can have an unmade fig.

Your assuming WK will provide a decent sculpt....
No, better to keep your order as is, play the figure now, & maybe use the official dial whenever it comes out.

New 52 Lady Blackhawk was one of the few things done well in the New 52. Just because she isn't exactly the same as the last incarnation doesn't mean she isn't a good character.

I'd say keep it just in case NECAKids can't produce the figure properly.

My concern with it would be that it not be Zinda, and it's something like 5 months out anyway so I'll still have mine made.

I haven't seen the new Lady Blackhawk (what's she appearing in?) but Gail Simone's BoP run is still one of my all-time favorites, so what I'm really looking for is a Zinda Blake, which means I'm probably well-off to keep the custom.

I found the pic of the digital sculpt online and it is indeed classic Zinda.

The awful new LB appeared in the mercifully canceled Blackhawks, a.k.a. Starship Troopers with jet planes. Think Angelina Jolie in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, except angry all the time and with even less personality (if such a thing is possible).

As for an appropriate dial for your mod... I know you've already ruled it out, but I'd still vote for V Blackhawk. Slap ICWO on there (it'll actually be thematic for once!) and you've got a really solid-for-the-points figure that even has 1 of the two keywords Zinda ought to (and we haven't seen a BoP keyword in a long, long time anyhow).

So,,, does the icon in that picture imply a new BoP TA?

Since that's the Blackhawks symbol, I'm thinking probably not.
