The thing about the multiple per household is with IP masking software, how would they know? Saying multiple people cant get on and play is ridiculous. my son and daughter both play online on different systems in my house, and until this my son had been interested in HCO. I had been thrilled about playing him on HCO, but this just makes me wish I could get my money back
Also, this rule has no more point to it then needing a unique email address for facebook. I have multiple FB accounts, multiple HCO accounts, 4 wow accounts, 3 Kabam accounts. All I have to do to cause "collusion" and rig the matches in my favor is go to the library and play and have someone stay at my house to throw matches to me.
Wizkids whether directly or indirectly through Icarus would be stupid to piss off this site/community the only reason Heroclix is half the success that it is not to mention came back from the dead is because of the realms. There is a bajillion figures we can play this game for as long as we live without new content so the people at wizkids should ask themselves do they enjoy their jobs and working on heroclix because they could be job searching pretty quick if people on the realms started boycotting or lessening their purchases.

Does the realms consist of the majority of the Heroclix players/buyers in the world? I'm genuinely curious. I have heard at times it was and then other times it was only a fraction of active players. The site says it has 125,722 members, but I have to wonder how many of them are current members.

The currently online count routinely reaches 3500 or more. Even if half of that number committed to a boycott, WK would hurt. Maybe not die, but they'd certainly notice.

Some of us only payed the initial cost to play. Now, speaking for myself, I will never play again if only to spite Icarus.
The way they handled this was less than classless and begs of arrogance. Everyone should cease playing in totality.
Physical clix rules! Give me figs or give me death!
Well....maybe not death, but you get the idea. Virtual fig's blow.

I can't speak for the number of HeroClix players worldwide; but I believe that we probably reach ~60% of them. Majority of people that view the website aren't logged in, and/or aren't members (just lurkers).
We have anywhere from 6K to 8K active members/day (~4000 max concurrent). But the idea is not to bring harm to the game that we all love (HCRealms would be hurt without HeroClix); but I do believe it's in our best interest (and investment) to make sure that WizKids is a good steward of the HeroClix line.
As for how that pertains to Icarus and HCO? Icarus reports to NECA, WizKids reports to NECA ... so it's kind of unfair to group WizKids in this discussion because from what I see at GenCon, they are doing a great job doing what they can for HeroClix.
As for Icarus, I really hope that we can work through this before it's too late. I don't know the solution; and I struggle with my position on HCO. *shrug*
the other thing is the alot of hardcore consumers are on this site the ones who buy bricks/multi bricks/cases/multi cases I think the people on this site help push the needle in sales. I am just saying wizkids should be mindful of their main consumer base.
