As they should be to an Assassin. Another ability in the game is the parry/dodge. If you time your parry just right, you will dodge the attack and use the opponent's momentum to drive your weapon into theirs. It's one of my favorite things to do in the game and totally makes sense in Clix form.

I do think exploit weakness would have made more sense than CCE and some CR and/or SS would have worked as well (amongst other changes that would probably be picking nits)...but overall, it's definitely a pretty good interpretation of the character.
Exploit Weakness should be something that elder Ezio (from Revelations) should have. I would imagine that he would be a more experienced fighter that uses his mind more than his failing body. (Of course, I have yet to play Revelations... Shame on me!)

I was hoping that they would use more generic keywords with this set, but I'm still happy that another of my favorite video game franchises is getting made into Clix form. I'm not too sure what to think of the sculpt, but I'll wait untill I can hold it to make a judgement. If they look bad, I'll just remove it and play a team of hockey pucks with as many bystanders as I can find

We'll have to agree to disagree on the EW (although I do agree that Revelations Ezio should have it). And don't feel too bad about Revelations- I didn't buy it until last month and just finished it a couple weeks ago.

I'm not judging the sculpt too quickly yet because the Gears of War sculpts didn't look that impressive in the previews but ended up looking pretty decent in hand.

The Assassin's TA has me salivating, first of all. Also, pair this guy with a tanky secondary attacker and he's good to go. Also, a very accurate, and as far as I can tell balanced 'clix of Ezio. Definitely going to slap Armor Piercing on him on ever opportunity, though.

EDIT: Having done some digging, Olah Hai from the LotR starter seems like a strong candidate for Mastermind Fodder. Also, Charlie-27. Although, low defense values make them a just-plain easier target than the guy they're supposed to be sponging damage off of. I see this being strong in bizzare situations where you're playing an indoor map and have four guys with Barrier to block LoS to everyone but Ezio. (Four so you can have them alternate turns.)

Totally building this team now.

Ezio + Armor Piercing (100+10)
Olag Hai (84)
FF:CW Scarlet Witch x4 (200)
Crimson Gem of Cytorak (5)
Total: 399 points

Alternatively, drop the gem, bump to 500 points, give him full Gauntlet because why not, add Ultron Drone for another damage sink. 494 points. 6 points for feat of choice. (Personal favorite is "And stay Down!", but I don't think Ezio qualifies.)

Another standout is Marvel 10th 011 Thing because he dares you to base him or his friends.

Three Ezio's Leap/Climb into contact with the same two enemies, consecutively. One Ezio is hit for 3 damage. Due to chain-MMing, the other enemy takes 3 unavoidable damage, the Ezios take none. Tears fall.

EDIT: Masterminding does work at the same point cost, right? Just realized a potential flaw in my plan and can't check right now.

I think Ezio's a unique (although the picture of the dial top appears to be regular...so we probably won't know until release), so the plan won't work regardless of Mastermind. But I do believe Mastermind damage has to be dealt to a lesser point character.

Batman doesn't rate Invulnerable next to the Thing, but compared to Carmine Falcone and Rachel Dawes, he does. Gimli's armor isn't as good as Iron Man's, but it's a hell of a lot better than an orc's. Etc.

Now this doesn't do much for you if you want to mix these clix with comic clix, which almost everyone who buys them probably will. But it might help a little? (I'm totally uninterested in any non-comic clix, so it's not an issue for me.)
You should be interested. Not to buy them, or to play them, but to play AGAINST them. You should know them enough to be able to beat them. Some day someone will have a team of them across from you, and you don't want to be all "Whats that guy do?"

No way. Copyable TA like this will only make these figures more sought after. I think Wiz-Kids is realizing how to get those Marvel/DC/comic only players to buy some new stuff....

See? That TA is going to be popular.

Being a big fan of the games, I'm super-excited for this set. Ezio looks great. I can't wait to get my grubby little mitts on this set!!!

I've played all the games and I don't ever remember Ezio getting any chainmail from his mother...

I don't think he's complaining about Assasins TA being Copyable so much as he's complaining because it got to be Copyable when all the other Game TA's got stuck being Uncopyable.

Hopefully the final sculpt looks better, but for 100 points, that is a pretty mean dial. I like the TA as well.
