It's back! That's right, the Battle of the Ages thread is back with a vengeance. Look for it in the Fan Fiction section. Here we go:

While breaking into Lexcorp central headquaters, Maxima encountered the leader of the industry. Amidst a battle with Luthor, he removed a gun of unknown design. He blasted the Almeracian princess, causing her to be plummeted into a wormhole, exiting at an unknown destination.

Awakening at an unkinown area, Maxima found herself in a jail cell. She saw a strange marking everywhere that looked like a yellow bird. Below it said "S.H.I.E.L.D." A man came to her cell. He said, "Hello. My name is Nick Fury. This is S.H.I.E.L.D. I'd like to know what you are doing here." Before she could answer, there was an explosion. Maxima saw a seemingly old man in a red suit with a grey cape and a helmet. He said, "Come with me if you want to live." Not knowing what else to do, Maxima agreed.

Later, the man revealed that his name was Magneto, and he was recruting metahumans for his Brotherhood of Mutants. Throughout their conversation, Maxima attempted to read Magneto's mind, but couldn't. He asked what she was doing. She replied, "I am trying to telepathically scan your mind." He replied, "Don't try. This helmet stops you from doing that and anything of that likeness." Maxima understood, and removed Magneto's helmet. She found he was chasing world domination through destruction. She decided to attack him. The battle commenced! Who will win? You decide!

Asthe battle raged between Maxima and Magneto, both became fatigued. In a last attempt, the Master of Magnetism noticed his foes body armor. He used his powers and began to crush the armor while the Almeracian princess was in it. She was going to die. On the edge of her life ending, new soldiers entered the battlefield. All had strange blue and yellow uniforms with small red X's on them. One had a face piece that gave the image he had one eye. The one eyed man stated to Magneto, "Leave her alone!" Not wanting to encour the full wrath of these warriors, Magneto flew away at top speed, leaving Maxima alive, but defeated!
