Avengers Assemble!!!...
OK. In a recent issue of WIZARD, THE COMIC'S MAGAZINE, the fans were asked to choose out of 20 possible Avengers, the seven most popular. As Henry Peter Gyrich said in Avengers, Volume #1, Issue #181, "Seven of you can stay...the rest must go!". Here's the team that was chosen...

Captain America
Hawkeye
Iron Man
Scarlet Witch
Thor
Vision
Wasp

As far as HeroClix goes, here's how the team adds up...

Captain America (Veteran): 62 points
Hawkeye (Veteran): 64 points
Iron Man (Veteran): 189 points
Scarlet Witch (Veteran): 40 points
Thor (Veteran): 187 points
Vision (Unique): 112 points
Wasp (Unique): 44 points

TOTAL POINT VALUE: 698 points

I'm gonna run this team against a 700 point Masters of Evil team to see how it stands up. However, we are using a House Rule at a venue we both play at which, instead of stating, "When two or more friendly members of this team are adjacent to the same member of an opponent's force, they may each make a close combat or a ranged combat action against that character using only one action from your allotment of actions for the turn." now states, "Whenever two or members of the Masters of Evil are adjacent to each other, they may each make a close combat or a ranged combat action against that character using only one action from your allotment of actions for the turn."

Wish me luck...

Not that it has anything to do withe your team really, but I just realized it's quite possible to build a team of "Classic" Avengers on the 200 point level. It looks like this:
E Captain America 47
E Hawkeye 43
V Scarlet Witch 40
R Black Panther 27
E Quicksilver 24
E Wasp (Uni starter) 19
Grand total: precisely 200 points. 6 figs is a lot, but that means that the TA and Cap's leadership will definitely be utilized... Plus, both Outwit and PC on a 200 point team can be quite powerful...
