Character Creation: Whirlwind REDO
Well, I decided to do a special Character Creation today. A redo of Whirlwind. This guy so rightly deserves HSS. Not a lot of it like other figures but enough to be afraid of him. He has been around for a very long time. He is going to be a very special Unique with his slower speed but still having HSS. Plus as another upgrade he is a flier. Masters of Evil and Sinister Sydicate teams will be greatly improved by him.

Comments Suggestions Post away.

interesting ... who knows if they would ever remake him though....
"He's got a possible 12 Attack",
Yeah, with 3 Perplex stacked on top of his 9 Attack!?

Why not advertise all figures with stats that are 3 higher than what they've got?
WKids could say, "This Paramedic does 3 Damage".

Far more playable than the original REV. Using him without TK was basically distasterous. He and Quicksilver suffer from the "First to Arrive, First to Go Down" syndrome. The ability with this one to move, attack, and move again is great, but consider bumping the Vet up to a 10 speed.

Out of curiosity, if you did a Quicksilver remake, how would he compare?

I think that he should have either B/C/F or higher dmg. This guy would spin around with those deadly blades of his that could do tons of damage! I would consider giving him during his HHS a 2(Rookie) or 3 dmg (Vet), I still not sure about his EXP version( Maybe one 3 then a 2) then when he goes into FLURRY give him B/C/F . So in recap of what I am saying:
Roo: 2 1 1 1 1( the 1 with FLURRY also having B/C/F)
Exp: 2 2 1 1 1 (the last three with FLURRY having B/C/F)
Vet: 3 2 2 1 1 1 (the last three with FLURRY having B/C/F)

Just my humble opinion oh, Creator of the "MATRIX"

As usual great fig redo! Maybe if we give you enough plugs, WK might come calling or sending you an email for an job interview!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good redos. I think a spinner like Whirly does deserve HSS for at least one click, and I am glad to see some range on him, which was an oversight last time around.

He has them but I have never seen him use it. At least not for clawing or Blading. Plus do you really thing he should do 6 damage?

I think he has the capability to do the 6 dmg if only for a click or two or three(LOL). But he should definately have one click of it.

These dials are good. I've made a redo for Whirlwind which is nearly the same (8 speed with HSS for 1 click). It keeps the figure cheap but useful.

One point of damage is enought.
If somebody really thinks Whirlwind should do more using his blades, well, let's just say that in a game he will automaticaly do more than one damage. I mean that in a Heroclix game, there's always at least one CA, so Whirlwind will do at least 2 damages per attack. That's not necessary to give him BCF or more than 1 point of damage, as Perplex will be added.

The range is explained by the fact that Whirlwind can throw some metal discs.
