Actually I saw something hilarious the other day: A vet. Tarnaq perplexed and with a heavy object rolled a criticle hit on Franklin Richards knocking him off a building! Talk about a savage beatdown!

All of these pogs seem really easy to abuse more cheap support, ultimates TA, cheap leadership, cheeper enhancement with FF TA if they make these wildcard teams would have a blast they would be like alfred poor butler having to hang out with doom all of the time

ugh, I'd rather they kept the pogs for true bystanders: J Jonah Jameson, politician, Lana Lang, etc.... They jumped the shark as soon as they started making pogs that do damage (Alfred, Franklin, Robbie), carry team abilities (Alfred, Alicia, Mary-Jane) & have powers (Ma Hunkel, Harvey).

Once the pogs make this leap they deserve a sculpt. If they ever decide to do the Mindless Ones & they're friggin' pogs I'll be really miffed.

How does the PD Team Ability and Toughness make Bullock more useful than a moloid or a thug? It makes no sense.

And these "powered pogs" are really annoying.

If Bullock is a pog, why couldn't Gordon have been one, too?

Wouldn't it have been great if they'd have simply made the F4 team ability untuouchable by Wildcard and then have simply had it be a D6-2 roll rather than a single click? Doom wouldn't be able to abuse it, and the Fantastic Four would actually be a threatening team. Well... "I" think it would have been great anyway.


I actually really like alfred as a pog as well as the fact that he does damage. I just wish they'd have given him a click of Stealth instead of the Batman TA. *shrug* But I guess it's way too late for us to worry about it now.

How about Dr. Strange's faithful manservant, Wong? Poor guy gets sucked into many of Doc's adventures. Maybe L/C or CCE, with Defenders TA? Or is that pushing the "bystander" concept too far?

Pogs eat. Some dude from Wizkids is gonna read this and say to himself;
"self, these people LIKE pogs, so let's do more of them!"

And then you end up with five Kongs and can't buy a Auto Regen from sombody. Boosters are already eight bucks, don't you want to encourage them to give you MORE for you hard earned blood money? Stop this discussion right now unless you really want to raise my ire.

If you want to guarantee getting all the feats and BFCs, just buy a set of them from ebay. Shouldn't set you back much! It's certainly a lot cheaper than buying more boosters just ecause you don't have Haymaker yet.

Does anyone use the pogs as actual Pogs? That was a fun game.

Or better yet.. buy a case! Fun for all, with balloons for mom!

These are the rules that I'd like WK to follow with pogs.

- NO Team abilities

- NO Powers

- NO Range

- NO Damage Value greater than 1

- Must be 4 points or less


Pogs are there just to round off teams and to be used in senarios. They are not meant to to give everybody stealth or a clix of healing.

WK should also retire the Marvel map set pogs and the DC Map set Pogs when DC Universe comes out latter this year.

It's funy. When MM was announced and people were asking whether or not they would have teams/powers, I believe WK said that they woudn't have any more pogs with teams or powers...

No one has dug up a quote, and some of us remember it as "pogs from Mutant Mayhem won't have powers or TAs." Hard to tell who's right w/o proof, tho...

I'm pretty convinced they'll keep doing them anyway (and I'm not convinced it's a bad idea).

I haven't had that experience; many of my players who got a case (or more) are more than willing to share with others in our play group. I've opened 5 boosters of this stuff, and am one pog away from having a full set of cards (with multiples of some of the better Feats).

Personally, I see the insert cards as "more"; more than we had gotten before MM, anyway.
