I read Kingdom Come last year and saw the red blur we barely make out to be the Flash. I wanted him in clix so much, and now he's here and I say to myself "What the ####?" His speed value is less then Jay Garrick, he has Quake when he doesn't need it...but I didn't come here to be a little whiner, I came her to give you these tips:

1) RUN FOR...something. Hypersonic speed is one of the most annoying powers in the game (I say that too often). Just run up, hit em, and get outta there.

2) He only has one click of outwit, so use it when you can. Once he does lose it, give him Armor Piercing to make sure he hits em with his good attack. It may be one, but it's etter then nothing.

3) Surround him with utility powers. Prob Control if someone hits his 20 defense. Perplex so he can deal more damage. An extra outwit if Flash loses his.

4) He can't handle everything on his own (though he does in the comic). Don't make him your only attacker.

better yet, have flash taxi around cloak with armor piercing for his poison! Also, use agent of oracle on flash to up his defense every other round.

I see you took my suggestion St. Dumas, good. I think KC flash is a very nice asset to any team that has room for him. He has hypersonic which is always good on him, lol. He also has outwit, which took me by surprise when I noticed it but hen I realized it makes sense. Since he is so fast, whenever an enemy ries to do something he can counterattack the enemy befre the even get to do whtat they were planning, makes sense.

Kc Flash is dissapointing in the fact that he's not the fastest character. I wish he was becasue he actually should be. Heres why, in the comic he is the complete emdiement of the speed force and/or he has gained all its power so much in fact that at every second he is in every dimmesnion, at the same time. Thats why he saw the spectre and the minister.
Make sure to give flash in contact with oracle, armor piercing, and maybe, just maybe, lazarus pit. I say the later because if he does get KO'd then you'll want him back, so just keep him out till you start to either lose or you need him to clean up. I would play him as a, not the, but a main attacker, do his stuff and stop. IF he dies then lazarus him, if not, heal anad repeat. Dont forget he flies so use the soaring rule to make it harder for your opponent to kill him. Then when he does die, do the pit and heal him a couple of clicks, only problem though is, he's practically useless becasue he doesn't gain hypersonic anymore. So actually don't use lazarus pit.

OK -- this is not a personal attack, so please don't take it that way. But if you're going to continue these "strategy" articles, could you please contribute something other than just stating what the powers on the dial do.

Things like "use hypersonic to hit and run away" and "he has outwit, use it" really aren't helping anyone use Flash. Would your Thor article consist of "use running shot" and "make ranged attacks" ?

I'm not complaining that you're attempting strategy articles, but before you try and write a series of them, please fill out your ideas a little more before you bother.

That's exactly what I've been thinking. The title however is heroclix for "Dummies," pretty much for the people just starting out (not saying new people are dummies.)

I agree with the last two posts. Even though I've spoken to St. Dumas on many occasions and threads I have to agree that these threads don't really help anyone. I mean anyone who is starting out gets help but you also ned to write out the strategy and explain why its better with this character than another character, or vice versa. Back on topic, KC Flash as I said before is a very good click to own. He's not the best but he's very good. Out of all the hypersonic characters I like him, nightcrawler, and Supes from KC. It depends on your taste and how you like to play. If you like lower point games go with flash or nightcrawler. If bigger points go with flash or Superman. I am currently in the making of a hypersonic team. At a store I go to Where i am the leading man if the judge isn't there, I make large teams with crazy rules. So, in a few weeks were having a hypersonic only team. Im playing with KC superman, KC flash, Nightcrawler, Black adam, jesse quick, kid flash. Thats it. All veterans and experiences.
